65: neglect

"Uh, babe?" Hizashi called out from the living room as Elly was finishing up her hair in the bathroom.

"Yeah?" She carefully selected the unscented hair gel marked with her name on the top of the lid and began applying it to her short, purple hair.

"When did we water the plant last?"

"Uhh... shit, I forgot. Did you do it last? Or did I?"

He walked into the room holding the pot in one hand. "I don't think either one of us did." The poor thing was brown and withered, probably past hope to anyone without a gardening quirk.

"Oh, crap."

"Maaayyybe we should just get a plastic one."

62: placid

The interviewers were trying yet another trick to excite him into saying something newsworthy again. They knew they could always count on him, every day but recently.

He had been practicing with his girlfriend, who, after all, was a trained therapist.

Hizashi sighed and stared straight ahead, his expression as flat as before.
<i>When they needle you, remain strong and state simple, solid facts</i>.

"No. We're still together. She's staying in Japan indefinitely."

<i>Show little to no emotion when confronted with an antagonist. They feed on your pain.</i>

He answered every jibe, every politely phrased insult and barbed question. Some of the people, of course, were polite and he enjoyed talking with them. He finished up and then turned on the Present Mic charm once again, flashing a giant, happy smile and cranking up the volume of his voice.

<i>But, most importantly, don't forget to stay true to yourself. Don't lose yourself in the grayness.</i>

49: Hard

Hizashi woke up in the hospital after a particularly painful fight to find himself surrounded by his closest friends.

"There, you see? Nothing else was wrong with him but exhaustion." Aizawa nodded to him and backed out as a disheveled Elly flung herself forward.

"What <i>happened</i>? How did your arm get injured?"

He scrunched up his face, looking embarrassed. It hadn't really been the bad guy's fault. In the background Midnight murmured something to someone else he couldn't see.

"I, uh, had no idea that water wouldn't break your fall if you fell into it from too far away. It was always ... well, liquid. Yanno?" He blushed shyly as she hugged him tight. "Oh! Um. Hey, maybe I should break an arm more often."

"Don't you dare!" Elly tapped him on the forehead. "I want you to stay as safe as possible, Mr. Yamada."

He raised his eyebrows, grinning. "Yes, ma'am."

96: thrilled

"Ohhhh, my shit, babe!"

Elly watched in high spirits as her boyfriend hopped first on one leg, then another, his grin huge. His eyes sparkled behind his glasses with utter joy in that innocent, childlike way he had. She had given him a gift, just because she had known he would love it the instant she had seen it.

"I'm glad you like it."

He hugged her fiercely, laughing. "<i>Like</i> it? I'm gonna sleep with it tonight." He paused, then added sheepishly, "uh, and you. There's room in the bed. Right, right?"

She joined him in laughter.

Heat Wave (Hizashi)

It was far too hot out.

Their home had air conditioning, but there had been a little accident involving the system and a very loud person awhile back that had unfortunately disabled it without their knowledge. Come summer, when they went to turn it on, they realized it would need maintenance. So now they had to wait at least a day in the heat before it got fixed.

They placed all the fans they owned on the coffee table and were seated on the couch wearing as little clothing as possible in front of the thin breeze. Hizashi only had boxer briefs on, and only because she had insisted on <i>some</i> layer of cloth between him and the furniture.

"Ugh, it's too hot," Elly complained. She fanned herself with a limp magazine she held carelessly in one hand. "I just want to live in the shower."

"Yeah? Well, how about we see just how sweaty we can get, then, before we go'n cool off there?" He waggled his eyebrows at her comically.

"Hizashi," she sighed in resignation.

"Whaaat? I mean it! Unf." He flopped back onto the couch with a disgruntled sound and took his phone out.

Elly smiled at his cute pouting. "I know you mean it," she told him affectionately.

"You betcha," he mumbled, tapping on his phone. "Aha!" The sound system in their apartment was fitted with the latest smart technology, and seconds later bass-heavy dance music filled the room. "C'mon baby," he hummed seductively. "Let's fuck until we honestly can't anymore."

She burst out laughing. "We'll make a mess -"

"Don't care!" He grinned and launched himself at her, nipping at the strap on the soft sport bra she had on. One hand gently urged her down on the couch while the other thrust up one leg of her plain athletic shorts. "Holy shit, yer hotter n' hell here," he gasped.

"You're surprised?"

"Nah. But y'gonna melt my dick, princess. That's a real concern there." He ducked, snickering, then screeching laughter as she started to tickle him.

"You pervy bastard!"

Hizashi squirmed, giggling, trying to escape her merciless fingers as they dug into his armpits. "Baby baby, please! S'just a joke! M'sorrrrry!"

"Uh uh, cutie." She locked her legs around his and whispered against his sweaty neck, mouthing a damp strand of blond hair. "You don't fool me. You're getting hard as hell from all this. How about here?" Her hands wandered to his thighs and he squealed loudly.

"Ahh, fuck! Yes! <i>Yes!</i> Do it to me!"

"Music was a good idea," she said quietly to herself, grinning as she ran her fingertips as lightly as she could around his most sensitive areas. Then, louder, "Feel good, Zashi?"

"Mooo-oore," he whined pathetically, "Please." His tongue ran out of his mouth as he panted heavily. He had taken his glasses off and his face was flushed, his eyes closed.

"Mmnn... okay, but remember, you asked for it." She carefully peeled his boxers off, tossing the damp red fabric aside. "Spread your legs for me."

Hizashi obeyed instantly, a low, urgent keening emanating from his throat. He was shivering but obviously not from cold. "Yeah, baby," he husked. "Destroy me."

Her fingers wandered and he dropped his head, wheezing, droplets flying as he strained. His hair had come partially undone from the loose bun he had tied it in and straggly blond hairs were falling over his neck and cheeks. The light touches were building pressure everywhere in his body, tensing his abdomen and thighs and an almost frightening rapture that he yearned towards. Elly's own body was getting slicker, creating a wonderful friction as they writhed against each other. Their combined sweat and the copious amount of fluid dripping from his tortured erection coated her belly.

"You gonna come for me, Zashi?"

He blew out a great gust of air. "After I fuck you senseless," he declared in his overconfident Present Mic voice. He cocked his head and gave her the look; the one he knew would part her legs in a split second.

And, of course, it did.

Those green eyes squinting devilishly down at her did what they always would. Elly gasped, throwing her legs farther around him but failing to hold as they were too slippery.

"Start slow," she advised.

"Yes." He moved teasingly, the tip of his member rubbing on her swollen clitorus. She moaned and he doubled his efforts, dipping inside only slightly and concentrating on sliding just the head of his penis directly where it caused her to scream for more. More sweat flew but they ignored it as they moved to the frantic beat of the club music thumping in the background. Hizashi kissed her passionately, waiting until he thrust his tongue past her lips to bury himself at last inside her. They cried out into the kiss, each fighting to hold back so the sex could be as good as it could be for the other.

"Like that?"

"Hmm, angle up, up like that! There, right there!" Her voice broke, hands scratching at his back.

"Oh, princess, am I hittin' that sweet spot of yours? Ahhh... shit!"

"Harder!"

"F - fuck, ah fuck <i>yeah!</i> Yer squeezin' me! Ahh!" The couch thumped and cushions fell as Hizashi threw himself vigorously into their lovemaking. Her eager moaning brought him to the peak and he bucked faster, chest heaving as the weight in his loins suddenly burst. He struggled to maintain a firm, steady pace as she wept, drawing her pleasure out until they both collapsed together in a squishy, messy heap.

"Ohhhh, Zashi. So good," she choked.

"Uh <i>huh</i>. Wicked good, baby. Mmmmm."

"Love you."

"Aww." He raised himself on shaky arms and kissed her on the nose. "Love you, too. Shower?"

"God, yes."

"M'kay, stay still. I'm'a slide off."

Elly yelped, startled, as he did exactly that, sliding to the side and off her and the couch. "Ewww!"

"Uh, yeah." He chuckled. "Sorry."

"It's okay, just... wow, ew. Sweaty." She stood and cracked her neck, grimacing.

"Cold shower an' ice pops seem to be in order."

She agreed, following him towards the bathroom. But when she was at the hallway she glanced back. "Ohhh god, we destroyed the couch," she mourned.

"Eh, we can clean the cushions, right?"

"I'm not even sure, Zashi."

"Well... shower first. Then we can survey the damage, I guess."

Counseling: The First Injury

"So, Zashi. You wanna know why I really hate that crazy old bitch?"

He whistled lowly. "You're more pissed than I've seen you in awhile, babe. Sure. It must have been terrible!"

"Oh, it was. And there was so much more, but it all started when I was so young it was ridiculous. My stepfather wasn't even my stepfather yet, in fact. Close, but not yet. He and mom went somewhere for the day and they had to leave me with someone, so it was hell grandma and his sister. As far as I know, this was my very first time meeting them. His sister had kids, so we went out to play."

"You must've been young if you played. I know you quit a lot of that after you were yelled at too much."

She nodded. "The girl, my soon-to-be step cousin, had those wonky beginner roller skates. I thought it was so cool, so I tried it for the first time." She rolled her eyes expressively. "I do <i>not</i> balance well."

"Aww. You fell?"

"Big time, scraped both my knees really bad. You know the type where knee to ankle is a bloody mess with bits of pavement gravel in it. It was the first time I had ever gotten that hurt. I was stunned, confused, and even more frightened because my mom wasn't there and I was in a strange place with strangers around me."

He traced wandering patterns on the back of her hand as he held it. "You were upset and hurt. Understandable. Almost every kid would want their mommy in a situation like that."

Elly laughed bitterly. "Yeah, well, you know what I got when I 'cried too much'?"

This time Hizashi cried out. "Ah, shit, princess! No way..."

"Yes," she said in a tiny voice, near to tears. "That horrible woman slapped me. I think my stepfather's sister looked at her in shock but I'm not sure. All I remember is being so afraid then I didn't know what to do." Her ears laid back and she bit her lip, unconsciously holding back tears even now. "I tried really hard not to cry. That's all I remember."

"<i>Fuck</i>," Hizashi said very clearly. Then, seeing shecwas doing what she always did, gently took hold of her cheeks and spoke with love, his eyes holding her gaze. "Baby, I know you understand why it's scary or embarrassing for you to cry. Like you said, you were always getting yelled at or slapped if you did. But, you need to now. Look." He kissed the corner of her eye and she choked, struggling.

"I know, I know. I cry a lot... but not when I should. When I need to. I can usually only do it when I'm alone. And if not, only with you." The tears broke and spilled down her cheeks at last.

"It's one of my biggest honors," he murmured as he held her.

Counseling: Adventure the Penguin

"You bought a new one!" Hizashi pointed to a small penguin puppet hanging from the plastic chain on the side of her stuffed toy display.

Elly smiled with less embarrassment than she had originally felt when she started her collection, but he noticed she was still extremely shy. He was very careful not to touch any of her new plushies as well until she said it was okay. Knowing the story behind a few of them had taught him a great deal about her and he was grateful to her for sharing.

"What's this one's name?"

"Adventure," she told him hesitantly, blushing harder.

"Cool. I assume there's a story behind that, like the others?"

Elly relaxed visibly and hugged him about his waist. "Yeah. Want to hear it?"

"Yeah." He smiled down at her. "But! Not before I get us some drinks. Something tells me this is gonna segue into somethin' big."

"Smart man," she murmured.

Once he had cracked open a beer for himself and gotten her one of those alcoholic seltzers she liked, they settled comfortably on the couch. "Mmmn. So, a puppet, huh?"

"Yeah. It was from a vacation. My family was pretty poor, but by scrimping and saving for a long time and going to stay with a relative instead of at a motel, we went to Florida."

"Ooooh, Disney!"

"Nope," she giggled at his enthusiasm. "I didn't like Disney stuff, and it was really expensive. So we went to Sea World."

"Ooohhh." Hizashi knew she loved sea life. That made far more sense. "Was it fun? At least that part? I know you love them fishies."

Elly laughed at his deliberate choice of silly words to make her feel better. She sipped her drink, wrinkling her nose as the fizz tickled it, and continued. "I did have some fun, yes! But the problem was the relative we went to stay with. It was my stepfather's mother."

He groaned loudly. "That doesn't sound good. He's not the type that woulda' had a nurturing mother."

"Exactly. She's the meanest woman I know in that family. I mean, you know my stepfather is abusive as shit, so it had to stem from something!"

"I'm scared for little you."

"It wasn't that bad. She did, well, ruin everything by insisting to come with us everywhere. And try to influence our every freaking step. So naturally as a kid, I don't like her because she's mean and she keeps dictating what we do and how we fucking do it..."

He raised an eyebrow. Swearing meant she was really angry.

"And we get to go, by ourselves, finally! Just my mother and I, into this shop. I picked a puppet up - this penguin -- and checked the price..."

"You were cost conscious as a kid?!"

"Well, yeah. I hadn't been allowed to get any of the ones I had really wanted because they were too expensive. But he wasn't too bad. Mom bought him for me, and I vowed, once again, like the puppy plush, that I would protect him. This time from the horrible, scary, pushy woman."

He cringed, his beer can crinkling as he inadvertently crushed it in his hand.

"Mom asked me what his name was. I said 'Adventure', because, hell, the word just came to me. She started laughing with everyone else. '<i>This is an adventure to you?!'</i> You know, mocking me. I was upset that what should have be a happy moment was ruined.

"And then, the harpy woman reaches over and <i>grabs</i> him by the throat, squeezing and screeching, '<i>does he squeak</i>?!' I pulled him away and said, I don't know, something along the lines of 'you're hurting him'."

"Yeah, that's uh... screwed up. You would hafta realize choking a kid's stuffed toy would scare them, right?"

"Not this witch. She gave me this furious <i>look</i> like I was evil incarnate. I'll never forget it, or how it made me feel. You would've thought I called her a piece of shit or something. I mean... I was suddenly a Bad Child, and that was it!" She took a long drink from the can she held and burped absently. "I had embarrassed my mother by not being silent and letting her walk all over me so now I was treated like I had been the worst kid ever. I cried that night, in her stupid condo, holding my penguin and whispering to him that I was so sorry she had hurt him."

"Geez, babe."

"Yeah... and that's not even the worst tale with her in it. You want one of my better ones, it's from the first time I met this puece of human filth that they made me call 'grandma' and hug for photos."

"Ah. But now, tell me how you really feel about her."

"Ha!"

83: Fulfilled

"Mmmn, there's nothing else I want in this world," Hizashi sighed in bliss. He rolled over on the floor where they were laying and leaned over her for a kiss.

She purred faintly. "Oh, really?"

"Ohhh. Oh yeah, well, there is one thing." He reached out and spun the ring on her finger. "You wanna swap this out, baby?"

"Silly," she murmured. "You've been teasing me about that since we got these."

"Aww. But what if -" He reached into the breast pocket of his shirt and pulled out a flat little box. "I really, <i>really</i> meant it this time?"

She smiled and held out her finger. "Put it on then, Zashi. You know I was only waiting for you to ask."

"Did I?" He grinned from ear to ear as he slipped the simple band on. "Well, there we go. Now we can talk about some more important matters."

"Mmm. Like when?"

"Where?"

"Who." He could barely contain his laughter. "You say 'why' an' I'm gonna pee myself, I swear..."

She snickered. "How."

He rolled over, clutching his sides and howling.

95: Optimistic

Elly scrolled through her phone again, and once more she snorted with annoyance.

"Hey, uh, babe? S'up with that? You've been checking your phone for a few days now, lookin' more and more pissed."

She sighed. "Well, I ordered something custom from Etsy a few days ago." She paused. "Six days ago, in fact. It was a pretty big order, and the shop says they ship within three to five days."

"Uh huh." He took his coffee cup and set it under the pot. "Nothing?"

"Not a word sent to me from the seller. Nothing at all. I mean, with this big an item I expected a 'hi, I'm working on this' - you know, professional contact."

He grinned. "That's what should happen, but there's your problem." He added cream and sugar.

"Ughhh, I know! Anyone with talent can open a shop, but it takes basic customer service skill. You can't just do whatever and think you're going to get super positive reviews if you don't update people! Now she relisted the item I bought today. Fine. But what about the one I ordered?!"

"It'll get here. You just have to remain positive." Hizashi was taking the next step to getting his coffee just right: microwaving it to warm it back up. He always added so much sugar and creamer it cooled it down too much. "Your stuff always does, right?"

"Yes. I know... bleah."

"Positive," he chuckled.

"...yay?"

"Better. We'll work on it." He removed his cup after the beep and promptly burned his lips on the mug when he sipped. Yep. Just right.

55: Composed

"Hey hey, I'm here to answer any questions about the incident." Present Mic stared out at the crowd of reporters, cringing inwardly. He adjusted his prescription shades and smiled disarmingly, spreading his hands apart. "Everyone is safe and the area is secure."

The media had other, more pressing, matters they wanted to discuss, however. Mic was struck with how many people began struggling to be chosen to ask a question. He knew the villain wasn't a big one and what happened had been routinely taken care of. No, they wanted something else.

He should have known; the ring Elly was now wearing had been noticed. The first reporter he picked asked what it meant, and if he was wearing one as well.

He carefully peeled his left glove off and showed them the one he had on. "Yeah, we have committed to each other." He raised his other hand. "Let me just answer the other questions in one go, huh? It's not an engagement."

Several disappointed faces showed they had thought it might be. Hero marriages were a big deal for the masses, rivaling celebrity ones.

"Mic? Excuse me - does this mean you don't believe in marriage, or she's not the right one for you?"

His eye twitched, and he set his mouth in a firm line. He was emotional and his colleagues were always having to hold him back in times like this. He tipped his glasses down, staring at the person with his mesmerizingly spiralled green eyes.

"It's not the right time yet," he answered calmly in a much deeper voice than he normally spoke in. "But she is the <i>only</i> woman for me."

66: Fine

Her ears lay flat as she watched the end of the movie. Hizashi knew that meant something was wrong, but she hadn't said anything and seemed okay otherwise.

"You okay, princess?"

"Uh huh." She flicked her tail once. "Just kind of angry at the roles women get written for a lot of movies."

"Oh. Like you mean, in this one where the woman basically uses her boobs to get whatever she wants?"

"Yep." She tilted her head. "Sometimes I get tired of the sexist tropes. I know it's an uphill battle fighting them, but, eh." She shrugged. "I don't have the energy to care too much, though. I'm okay. I'm just... fine today. It'snot a good or bad day."

"Fine condition is better than poor," he agreed.

"Ha!"

77: Hyper

Hizashi spun about, grinning widely. "You look gorgeous in traditional clothing," he gushed, wringing his hands as he stared at his girlfriend.

"Oh, Zashi," she sighed shyly. "You've said that a hundred times already. I told you I can barely look at you, you're so handsome."

"Yeah, but! But!" He danced around her, pointing here and there. "The fabric is perfect, the bow, the flowers in your hair. I <i>love</i> summer festivals!"

Elly waved her tail about her front, tying a small wreath of flowers right before the white tips. "I do, too. The food stalls and activities... fireworks. It's so much fun."

Hizashi brushed the front of his robe, fiddling with the golden sash. "C'mon, c'mon, let's go, then! I wanna get to the takoyaki booth before they sell out like they always do." He flung the front door open and dashed outside.

Dakimakura Panic!

Elly froze in place, her eyes huge. The thumping rhythm and hoarse moans coming from the apartment to her left could mean only one thing. She was about to hurry past when she heard Aizawa cry out her name.

"<i>Please</i>...ahh! Cheshire!"

In her confusion she did a very stupid thing and knocked on his door.

It opened a little too fast, as if he were trying to pretend nothing had been happening. The state he appeared in gave most if that away, however. Aizawa was nude to the waist with only a pair of black sweatpants on.

She gasped lightly and stared; she couldn't help it. His bare chest was covered sparsely in dark hair that puffed out in the middle and then trailed low, all the way down to disappear into the hem of his pants. Elly started to sweat as she imagined him pulling them on at the last second, right before he opened the door.

His gray eyes showed a lot of the bloodshot whites as he stared at her nervously. "Ah... hello."

"Aizawa, are you okay?" She stared past him and spotted a long, purple and lavender striped pillow on the couch in his otherwise barren room. "Um."

The poor man's face paled, then blushed bright red. He saw it was useless to hide the pillow as she had already seen it, but hoped he could perhaps distract her. "Did you need help? Can I offer any assistance?"

"Aizawa Shota, is that a body pillow of me? Were you..?" She stepped inside, staring down at it. "Wow. It is."

He leaned heavily on the wall and covered his face in his hands. "I thought you weren't moved in yet."

"I'm not," she said slowly, her brain still processing all the facts. "I happened to be walking by so I could measure my door for furniture."

He swallowed mightily, gulping past the lump in his throat. "Look, I thought no one else was home. I'm sorry I offended you."

"I didn't say I was offended." She stared first at the sexy pose she was in on the pillowcase, then at him. "I mean, I wish you would have told me though. That pillow isn't really a match for the real thing."

"I thought it was against my odds to ah, try anything. Logically, if I couldn't have what I wanted this was the next best thing."

"So... what if you were wrong, and you could?"

He squinted at her as he tried to ascertain if she was speaking the truth. "Are you saying you would welcome sexual advances from me?"

The cat woman choked a little at his blunt phrasing. "Aizawa... no, wait." She took one deep, calming breath and used his first name instead. "Shota. I would very much like to form a closer relationship with you."

"Really?"

"But." She held a finger up. "Only if you want more than sex."

He scoffed. "What type of man do you believe me to be?"

"A good one. I just need to hear you say it."

He tilted his head down at her and sighed tiredly. "Yes, Cheshire, I want more than just a one night stand."

"Shota," she said in reproach.

"You asked. Now, come all the way in and sit." He gestured at the lumpy looking couch. "I think we're going to be talking for awhile."

"Talking?"

He shrugged. "Among other things, if you wish."

Elly walked inside his apartment and moved the pillow so she could sit on the couch. It smelled like him and she found she liked the coffee and bitter energy drink scent combination very much. "Okay. Now what?"

The dark haired man looked confused for a moment. He sat beside her and frowned, deep in thought. "You really want me?" His tone was baffled, uncertain.

"Why wouldn't I?"

Aizawa gave her a very direct stare. "Ches. I don't eat well, I sleep too much and while I keep my body in fit physical condition, I care little of how I look on the outside." He paused. "'Scruffy' is as kind a compliment as I've ever been given. And yet..."

She placed a tentative hand on his. "I wouldn't have wanted a relationship with you if I didn't find you attractive."

"Not frightening?" His gaze grew even more intense. And then, as she watched, his dark hair stirred, rising slowly. His grey eyes burned red as he used his quirk. She wasn't exactly sure what he was trying to prove. In her opinion, the determined expression he wore when activating it was very sexy. So Elly responded as she saw fit, pulling on the hand she held to indicate she wanted him closer. He leaned towards her until their foreheads were touching, and still his eyes blazed, so close to hers she could see they were quite literally afire. His pupils gave off a soft glow. She shivered and slid her other hand around the back of his neck in a caress, lips parting in offering. Aizawa took his chance quickly, as if he were afraid she would change her mind.

His lips were somewhat dry as he pressed them to hers. When he made no further move she took the liberty of wetting them for him, softly licking with her eyes closed until she heard him gasp.

"You do," he choked. You want me."

"Well, now that's settled, Eraserhead..." She traced the hairline on his neck, this time making him shudder. "What are you going to do about it?"

"I can think of many things." He kissed her several times, each longer and more lingering than the last.

"Mnnn. Your favorite idea?"

"We make slow, deeply satisfying love and you stay with me for a nap before getting something to eat. I can help you move into your apartment later."

She smiled, genuinely touched at this simple yet bold statement of his desire. "That sounds perfect."

"I only have a futon in the back. Is that all right, or do you want to stay here?"

"A futon is fine... eek!" She threw her arms around his neck as he unexpectedly picked her up. "Shota!"

"I'm not wasting time now," he told her seriously. "You're going to get my undivided attention for as long as you need to feel the best you've ever felt."

She swallowed past the sudden lump in her throat. "So sure of yourself," she managed to breathe.

He laid her down on the soft padded blankets and knelt above. "Yes. I believe I may still surprise you."

-

The futon was comfortable, and his body was warm, especially since he wore no shirt. She relaxed, her ears flicking upright with her tail finally stilled beside her. Aizawa waited until the nervous tension he sensed drained from her, stroking her hair as they lay in a close embrace.

"I did not mean to frighten you."

"You - you didn't. Not really. It's just I hadn't expected you to be so..." Elly bit her lip, thinking how to properly phrase things.

Aizawa grinned down at her. "Experienced?"

Her blush grew even more pronounced. "Hmm. Yes."

"I haven't had too many partners, if that's what's making you uncomfortable." His eyebrows raised. "Or perhaps jealous?"

"A little of both," she admitted.

"I meant to assure you that I will take the time necessary to learn what you like." He sighed as she moved, feeling her curves as they molded so easily to him. "It won't be a chore," he chuckled softly.

"I guess I assumed, you know, because of the pillow..." She pet his puff of chest hair, smiling at how perfectly centered it was.

He snorted dismissively. "That was because I wanted <i>you</i>. I agree it wasn't in good taste, but I was sorely in need of some way to check my desire."

"Oh, I don't know if it was such a bad idea." She coughed lightly. "A certain t-shirt that was very hard to locate - being that the pro hero isn't well known on purpose -- is a favorite of mine. It's a comfort thing. I wear it to bed."

"I have merchandise?" He sounded amused as he watched her continuing to fiddle with his black, curly hairs.

"Yes. Very little... and most is only known to close-mouthed fans. You underground heroes have underground fans."

"That's oddly touching." He cocked his head, staring at her in a new light. "I'm beginning to think I was very foolish not to declare myself to you earlier."

Elly's heart skipped a beat. "Declare?"

He set his forehead to hers, once more staring deeply into her eyes. "I'm a grown man; I don't get crushes. What I feel for you is much deeper than that."

"Shota..."

"I thought it was strange, wanting to be around you so much. We've worked together for less time than I've been with other colleagues, but you..." He paused, frowning a little. She felt his brows draw up on her own. "I want to be with you often. To know you more than others do."

"Are you telling me that you love me?"

He kissed the corner of her mouth, a slow blush burning his ears and throat. It crept up until his face was flaming in spectacular fashion. Elly was intrigued - he looked more embarrassed now than when she caught him with the body pillow. Aizawa's breathing became erratic as well and he kissed her neck, soft, gentle brushes of his lips that caused her skin to prickle with goosebumps. This went on until she whimpered, sliding her hands around his upper body to grasp his shoulders. He drew back, panting and red-faced.

"I - I think yes. I have fallen in love with you."

"Good," she husked so low he almost couldn't hear. "I think I'm in love with you, too."

"Yes," he murmured. "That is good." Placing a hand on her cheek, he smiled - the softest expression she had ever seen on his tired face. "It's perfect.

"Do you still desire me, then?"

Elly tilted her head quizzically at him. "Yes. Very much. I just... um. Had to slow down for a second. I know I initiated things, but I needed a moment to think."

He nodded. "I thought that maybe you changed your mind."

"No. I really want you." She looked up into his eyes. "I really want more of your kisses."

"Oh?" He reached out and cupped her cheek in one hand, bending over. "All you need do is ask."

Her dark eyes grew starry as he covered her lips with his own in a light, open-mouthed kiss. "God, I love how you talk," she breathed.

"Mmmn." He propped himself up on one arm to lean over her, pressing more firmly. When she didn't protest he carefully moved his legs and arms so his body was resting on top of her, their mouths still connected in a series of kisses growing deeper and more passionate. Elly's response was more enthusiastic than he could have dreamed; her arms wrapped around him immediately and she held him very tight. "That feels good," he murmured.

"Mmm?"

"Being held." His breathing picked up speed and his gaze became more intense. "It ... I wanted this."

"Me too!" She hugged him, squealing softly with happiness and a cute embarrassment that made his heart race faster.

"Damn it, Ches," he choked. "I - you..."

She tangled her hands in his hair, pulling him down for more kisses. "Us," she breathed.

"Yes!" He gave in and lost himself to the desire to cover every inch of her pale skin with his lips. Aizawa's scruffy facial hair caused her to blush even brighter wherever he kissed and she discovered she was ticklish in the strangest places. He chuckled wickedly when feathery brushes of his lips on her neck caused her to giggle.

"Yeek!"

He relented, but then decided to nibble instead. As his teeth grazed her sensitive throat her laughter turned to low moans. He kept it up, his hands wandering further, his breath hot on her flushed skin as his breathing turned harsh. He jumped, then groaned loudly when her fingertips stroked the bulge in his sweatpants.

"Ches..!"

There was an abrupt flurry of knocks on his front door. Elly had to press her hand to her mouth to stifle a startled shriek. Aizawa paused, hovering over her with his expression hidden in the dark tresses that swung down to cover his face. He flexed his arms once, pushing quickly off the bed and landing neatly on his bare feet.

"Shota?"

"I'll go see who it is," he said in a resigned voice. "The light's on, so they know I'm home."

She nodded and watched as he tore a gray and black cat patterned robe off the hook behind the bedroom door. Shrugging it on, he shuffled towards the front of the apartment, grumbling as he gumbled with the belt. He had a very prominent erection that was impossible to hide in the soft pants.

He looked out the peephole before opening it and mentally winced. <i>Great. This is just what I need right now.</i>

The door was yanked open, revealing a bewildered Nemuri. "Aizawa!"

"What." He spoke flatly, with a great deal of dislike. "This had better be worthwhile. I am not happy at having to suspend my ... activities."

"Activities." The buxom woman snorted into one hand. "Right. Like, let me guess - sleeping."

"No. What do you want?"

"Well, some of us at the bar got to talking. We realized Elly would have to move in on her own. I know she chose tonight because she wouldn't disturb anyone since we were all working or out, but. You know. It's not very 'Plus Ultra' of the staff she's now a part of if we don't help. Not very neighborly."

"So you thought I wanted to be more ..." He gave her an even flatter look. "Neighborly."

"You should," she stressed. "She's moving in next to you, after all."

"Go back to the bar. She's not moving in yet." He tried to close the door but she pushed past him and walked inside, still talking. Aizawa choked, his face growing red.

"She will later though, right? You really have to make an effort. It would be good for you to at least try to be helpful..." She blinked slowly, her eyes widening as she caught sight of the body pillow, crumpled but still recognizable beside the couch. "Oh, my."

His palm completely covered his face as he groaned.

"Oh, <i>my</i>," Eraserhead, Nemuri cooed. "Looks like someone has the hots for Cheshire."

"Midnight," he growled in warning.

"I guess all those Erashire fans would be thrilled," she went on, oblivious - or perhaps not -- to his discomfort. She thought hard, her hips thrust at an angle with one bright red nail tapping at her equally red lips. "Hmmmm, though. You need to ask her out. Impress her. What to do..."

"I don't <i>need</i> to do anything!"

"Okay, but shush." She pushed him towards the bathroom. "No, you need to shower and change. You can pick her up, let's see... that'll do. We have you show up and tell her it's your idea we're all going to help! That way you get some good boy points." She babbled on, not noticing how he had frozen in place, his blush spreading down his neck as he stared down the hall.

Elly walked out of the bedroom wearing nothing but an old t-shirt of his. She coughed lightly, and the other woman's head jerked up at the sound.

"Um, Midnight? I don't think Shota needs any tips on how to get me into bed."

"Wha..." Her eyes grew huge and she adjusted her glasses as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Aizawa automatically wrapped an arm around her waist as Elly drew closer, and Nemuri's mouth shut with a snap. "Oopsie!" She tittered, covering her mouth with one hand. "I had no idea you guys were already hooked up."

Elly raised her eyebrows.

"I'm going, I'm going!"

"Six o'clock," she called out impishly as the other woman grabbed for the door handle. "You can meet us here if you wanna help me unload. I've got a truck dropping by with my things."

Nemuri gave them both a thumbs up and left.

Aizawa hid his face in his hands. When he looked up again his face was ravaged from multiple emotions he was used to masking or holding in. "Would you like to continue this at another time or place? I seem to be, ah, unlucky today."

Elly shook her head, taking his hand. She slowly pulled him forward, slipping it under the shirt she wore onto her bare bosom. "It's definitely not your unlucky day."

His breath caught in his throat, and he slowly smiled as he cupped a breast, feeling the soft weight.

"Good." He drew his fingers around a nipple and tweaked it gently. Her ears laid lazily back and she gasped. Soon her back was pressed to the wall as he pushed her against it, his hands groping her under the shirt as he bumped her groin with his.

"Sh - Shota!" Her hands gripped the bathrobe he still wore tightly, digging into the fabric on his back. It flapped wildly, open at the front as they writhed together.

"Shit, Ches, ah..!" He never thought he could feel this good and still have his pants on. His humping grew more frantic, and she urged him on with a multitude of kisses.

"Please," she whimpered. "Oh, please Shota. I need more."

"<i>Yes.</i>" He slipped his hands underneath her and lifted her once more. "No interruptions this time." He walked back into the bedroom and very firmly and purposefully closed the door behind him.

-

He laid her on the bed again and the t-shirt rode up, exposing the fact that she was, in fact, totally nude underneath.

Aizawa stared in awe for a moment, rubbing a hand over his mouth. "You're so beautiful," he stammered at last.

"Oh, Shota," she sighed, beckoning him to hold her. "It's nice of you to say that. It's thrilling. But I never thought of myself as 'beautiful'."

He embraced her, kissing the hollow between her breasts. "I wouldn't lie," he murmured.

"Of course not. But, wait, here." She caressed his back, purring at the rippling muscles under her fingertips. "Sit up."

He did, and she traced him from lips to waist with a light touch. Her fingers grazed his collarbone, ran down along his chest and toyed delicately with his flat male nipples. He huffed quietly and she smiled and moved on to pet his defined abdomen and all the scars she could find.

"You are the most handsome man I have ever seen," she breathed.

"Eh... " Embarrassed beyond measure at the praise, all he could do for a moment was clear his throat. The grin was quickly back, however, cheeky as ever. He pulled the shirt all the way off, careful not to catch it on her ears.

"You next." Her hands tugged on the waistband of his underwear. He grunted and lifted himself up so she could take them off. "Well. Here's one part of you that doesn't have any scars."

"Ha." He looked down, starting to sweat as her hands stroked his erect member. "Ches, I'm not going to be able to hold back if you touch me like that."

"I know," she smiled. "I want you right away, too."

"Hmm." He nodded and held up a small, foil packet.

"Prepared, are you?"

"Ah, well, Midnight slipped this to me on her way out." He coughed, flipping the packet into his palm. "Otherwise, no. I don't keep any protection around. No use for it." Aizawa ripped the end and slid the condom out.

"Want help?"

"If you're offering." He held it out to her with a smile.

Elly took the thin tube and grasped him gently but firmly in one hand, pulling down slightly so as to slip it on. He moaned when she rubbed all the way down to ensure a proper fit. "I know guys hate these things, but so do we, you know. Better safe than sorry, though."

He dropped his head to hers, his long hair tickling her cheeks and shoulders. "Maybe later, though... we won't need them."

"Mmmn, are you suggesting, one, that we become a couple and two, ha..." She gasped as he angled himself, pushing tentatively at her moist heat. "Two, that you want fantasized about coming naked inside me?"

He set himself and kissed her for an answer, his body trembling all over. "Yes."

"Sexy," she murmured. "Take me, then."

"Yes."

"Ohhh, wow, yes." She lifted her legs, her eyes dreamy as he thrust. "You feel so good, Shota."

"You're hot," he groaned. "I f - feel like I'm melting." His movements were smooth, his fit body able to easily keep a teasing, measured pace. He kissed her neck, panting hoarsely. "Wanted you for so long."

She hugged him a little tighter at this declaration, her arms sliding in the beaded sweat rolling down his neck. Aizawa grinned and moved faster, angling up just a bit. Her reaction was immediate as he struck a very sweet spot inside her.

"Oh, god," she choked. "Oh god, Please don't stop. Don't stop, Shota!"

He threw his head back, neck straining, throat working. His pace didn't falter but he did whimper very, very softly. He wasn't going to last. The pressure building in his loins was far too much.

"I'm - I'm going to..."

"<i>Yes!</i>"

That was it. Hearing her cry of pleasure threw him into his own and he bucked harder, faster, losing himself in his release. It was so good neither spoke. They clutched at each other wordlessly, their mouths pressed firmly together in a kiss that waxed and waned with their movements.

"So good," she sighed at last.

"Mnn," he agreed. "Y'want to take a nap before we go get your stuff? I can set an alarm."

"Perfect."

While the two were discovering each other for the first time, the others were waiting for Midnight back at the bar.

She pulled a chair back and grinned at the group at the table. The off duty heroes were Yagi, Hizashi and Sekijiru, known otherwise as All Might, Present Mic and Vlad King. She glanced around, but the blood control hero wasn't at the table at the moment. There might be others dropping by later, but for now she waved at those seated to be quiet.

"It's on! Six o'clock, apartment next to Aizawa. She has a small truck bringing her stuff in that's already packed. We can help unload it."

Yagi smiled. "Good. I'm glad we decided to help."

"Yeah, yeah, and then we can all go back out for drinks to celebrate!" Hizashi cheered and held up his half full beer mug, sloshing some of it on himself in the process.

"Oh, and they're sleeping together," she added bluntly. "I barged in on them."

Yagi sprayed blood across the table as a coughing fit struck him. Hizashi's glasses slid down his nose as beer poured out his slackened mouth. His expression was one of complete and utter horror.

"<i>Nemuri!</i>"

"What? I didn't mean to. Oh, I didn't see anything. But I definitely interrupted them."

"Ewww, Midnight," Hizashi whined. "Stop. No more."

"Yes, please," Yagi choked, his face bright red. "Don't say anything else about it!"

"Ugh, you guys're no fun," she pouted.

Sekijiro came back with some sort of suspiciously red liquid in a mug and sat down. "What did I miss?"

Midnight's eyes lit up.

"No!" Yagi and Hizashi yelled in unison.

Flirt Wars: Zoro (4 shorts)

Shopping

"This is stupid."

"Oh? Then I guess it's perfect for me, huh?"

Zoro winced inwardly. The cat woman had made an excellent point, seeing as his nickname for her included that very word. But he absolutely <i>hated</i> being dragged along on these shopping trips. The orange-headed wench had brought him more times than he could count after threatening him with "extra interest" on his swords. They were boring and he became an embittered pack mule, strapped down with frilly purchases and gaudily wrapped packages.

And there was nothing to drink.

But as Elly wound her way through shops the other women would have visited for hours on end and kept going, he found himself more interested. "Hey, cat," he called out to make himself heard in the noise of the crowd. "Where are we going?"

"Over there." She grinned impishly at him.

"That's a..." <i>Tavern?</i> He blinked down at her. "You little shit."

"We're still going shopping, Zoro," she told him very sincerely. "But I have very particular drink favorites and this is where we're gonna pick some up."

His answering grin was huge.

Sunbathing

The three women were spread out on the warm sands like very different flowers, wearing skimpy bathing suits in their favorite colors. Robin wore black, as she had taken to a lot more often lately due to Elly's favorite being her other choice. The cat demon loved wearing a matching purple shade to her fur and hair. Nami wore, of course, gold. The suit was probably very expensive.

Sanji rushed forward so fast he nearly tripped over a mischievous crab that had poked up from a burrowing hole. He swore at it, then grabbed the suntan lotion from a table they had set up. "Who wants to be first?!"

Nami rolled her eyes and Robin answered this by using her own sets of extra hands to lotion herself up. Sanji grumbled a little at that. Elly wasn't paying attention, so he snuck closer and was just about to reach for her when a hand snapped closed over his wrist like a vice.

"Ow, damn it!"

"Back off," Zoro growled at him. "Pervert."

"What's your problem, moss head?!"

The bigger man pointed at the purring lady stretched out with her tailtips twitching idly. "The cat. Is <i>mine</i>."

Sanji spluttered with astonishment and ire, and Elly's ears flicked. She had a feeling Zoro didn't know exactly how good her hearing was.

-

The pond

Zoro paused, his throat closing up as he stared incredulously at the scene unfolding before his stunned gaze.

They had stopped for supplies near a sleepy little village that boasted a stunning forest nearby. Elly had crept out of their rooms that night, and he followed.

The moonlight leeched the colors from the pond where he had tracked her, creating a sharp contrast to the world of only bright silver or dark, deep shadows. Her silhouette rose from the waters cleanly, water streaming from her hair with only the faintest ripples as she stood.

She was nude, but in the darkness he saw only her shadow. Shaking, he backed away, blushing, confused and not wanting to disturb her.

Stormy Weather

The cracks of thunder and flashes of lightning outside went on for hours. The pitch and roll of the ship wasn't too bad as it was a large vessel, but to someone aboard being on the ocean during a storm was almost unbearable.

Elly shivered under her bed, mewing in fear. She had reverted to cat form and would not come out for anything. The girls were at a complete loss.

"I know she said this was like the storm that fell after she changed," Robin told them quietly. "I think that might be why it's so traumatizing for her."

"If she would come out, Chopper mixed up a sedative. I can put it in some warm milk, but she has to be able to drink it." Sanji scratched at his chin thoughtfully.

"Yeah, there's the problem. She has to be calm enough to even drink it."

Zoro was staring at the play of light on the water in the distance. He finally grunted and stood up. "Make the milk," he told Sanji shortly and stomped purposely out of the kitchen.

Moments later he was laying on his stomach near her bed. "Hey, cat."

She didn't answer but he heard the scratch of claws on wood as she scrambled fearfully about.

"I can keep you safer than under that damn bed," he said firmly. "I'm gonna pull you out. No biting."

She hissed as he grasped the closest striped appendage and tugged. "Not my tail!"

"You weren't coming out otherwise."

She turned into her more familiar human form as he grasped her in his arms. "Cut it out, I -"

An especially loud rumble caused her to gasp and instead of pushing away as she had intended, she clutched the front of his robe, shaking. Her tail was frizzed out and her ears askew.

He carefully smoothed her hair, stroking her ears gently and blushing. "Stupid cat," he mumbled. "I won't let anything hurt you."
