Goggle Boy

jan 10 07

"Hey, goggle boy," Zoro tossed off causally, calling out to the man beside him.

"That's it!" Elly snapped, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "No more making fun of him... you're marching right up there and putting that Skypiea outfit on." She paused for effect. "The whole thing."

"Not the goggles." He tried to look properly chastised but a faint smile marred the result.

"Yes, those too." She held out her arms to him.

"Did they have many rooms for rent up there?" The swordsman turned to the fighter, who was now resting back against Bulma and smoking. Zoro's brow wrinkled. <i>Just like that damned cook</i>, he thought. At least he was used to the smell now - a good thing because it took a long time to get the scent out of a full body's length of fur.

"They're a little small, but they're cozy," the blue-haired woman replied. Then she bit her lip and blushed a little. "Um."

"Perfect for..." Hwoarang began, but was cut off as Bulma punched him lightly in the side.

"Oof."

"Shut up," she hissed, turning a darker shade of red. Then she smiled at her friend. "The one in the far right corner is ours though."

"Hnnnf," Zoro grunted as he lifted the furry demon cat in his arms. He appeared to be thinking this over. Elly snuggled happily against his warm chest and grinned toothily back at Bulma. One of her eyes closed in a slow wink. Finally Zoro turned and started up the stairs.

"Neighbors," he waved jokingly to the couple they were leaving behind.

"Their loss, actually," she murmured as he carried her up the dark wooden steps. "You're loud sometimes."

"And you're not? Stupid cat." He walked down the rows of doors to the second to last one and stopped, fumbling for the key he'd had all along.

"Idiot swordsman." She nipped his neck lightly. Zoro shuddered - not noticeably, of course, but she could feel his tense muscles jerk at the touch. He set her down on the cozy little bed and walked into the bathroom where their clothes trunk was.

"You want to bother with this?" His rumbling voice sounded amused when he strolled out a moment or so later. He was holding the sleeveless blue shirt in one hand, goggles in another. He was bare-chested and the green haramaki he always wore was pushed down a ways as if he'd rushed things. Now he raised an eyebrow at the woman pondering him on the bed. Elly stretched languidly, curling her tail around her. Zoro's eyes narrowed speculatively.

"What?"

"Lose the cat form." He walked over and stroked her back once, his gentle touch belying the bland expression on his face. He did manage a grin when she shook herself and changed to cat woman, however. She retained the tail, ears and fangs but lost a great deal of fur.

"Better?" she asked archly.

"Yeah," he grunted and slipped the shirt on. He then chuckled and slung the goggles around his neck to rest on his upper chest. She sat up and hugged him tight, laughing happily. The big man blushed at this sudden display and sat down on the bed next to her, curling an arm around her shoulders. Elly sighed and nuzzled her head against his arm, burrowing even more tightly under it.

"You smell like smoke," she whispered.

"Always smell like that," Zoro supplied helpfully. "Asshole cook smokes."

"Not the same, really." She sat up and crawled in his lap, toying with the protective eyewear. "I think Hwoarang's cigarettes are a different brand." He blinked lazily, watching her play with the goggles for a short while.

"Really like them that much?" He asked finally. She ducked her head shyly.

"They're different," she said as if that explained everything. "You look very sexy in that outfit." Zoro choked on that and she whispered under her breath.

"What was that, cat?" A finger rubbed under her chin and then forced it up so he could stare into her eyes.

"I said," she coughed lightly, "besides everything else." She had the pleasure of seeing his confusion double at that, his blush darkening as his eyes widened. Elly loved startling her beloved. His face always got so shocked at what seemed to her the simplest of things.

"Um..."

"Why so surprised?" she leaned forward and purred into his ear - the one with the earrings. That one was sensitive and she knew it. They jingled musically and she flicked her tongue out to toy with them playfully. Zoro's breath caught and he shrugged.

"Not," he said shortly. Then his hand slipped under her rear and he caressed delicately. "You wouldn't be here if you thought I was ugly, would you?" Elly laughed out loud, throwing her head back. It was a warm, rich laugh that caused Zoro to join in after a moment. There was so much fun and wonder in these first few days after he had openly admitted his love. She laughed, but in a moment her breath caught as his hand started to slide her shorts and underwear off.

"What about some foreplay, love?" A small chuckle escaped her at his innocent face. He then did something that forced her to revise his lovemaking skills. They'd both been virgins when they had started experimenting and at first it seemed the big man was too embarrassed to cope with the finer, subtle aspects of romancing. She'd misjudged him. He had studied her in even more ways than he studied his opponent before a fight. Zoro grinned at her, throwing the jeans and panties aside with no apparent interest. He reached over and untied the bandanna from his left arm.

"All right." He quickly flipped it up and over his head, tying it in place over his hair. This left the glint of his eyes visible under the improvised snood and had always excited her. Zoro's eyes always snapped with energy when he fought, not with bloodlust but for the chance to prove himself again and again. The dark green eyes were smoldering now - and directed at her with all the force of a blow. She blinked and her arms tightened around his neck.

"What are you going to..."

"Do?" he husked, settling her more comfortably in his lap and taking the goggles off. "You'll see... don't think I need these now." Elly silently agreed, a finger or two gently tracing the cords in his neck. He nodded and threw them in the same corner with the lower half of her clothing.

"Hmm," she purred when his hands slowly caressed her back, "That feels good." Zoro grinned ferally and gently bit her neck.

"I know, cat." He paused. "I need something..." He picked her up, carefully bundling her in his strong arms and placing her on the little bed. Then he hunted around in the little bag he'd brought.

"What're you looking for?"

"Ha." He drew out a small bottle of caramel-colored oil. Elly blinked.

"Sanji'll kill you if you took his cooking..."

"Not that kind," Zoro rolled his eyes dramatically. He rolled a little from the bottle onto his palms and briskly rubbed them together. "Comfortable on your front?"

"Want me to roll over, huh?" She raised an eyebrow and complied when he nodded. Zoro sighed gustily and crept above her on the bed. He straddled her as easily as he could to avoid the bed rocking too much and gently pressed down on his partner's shoulders, on either side of the spine. Elly purred faintly when she felt his slick, warm hands on her skin. With a flat hand, fingers together, he moved his hands in parallel lines up either side of her spine, then out and across her shoulders, slowly caressing. He swiped his hands across her upper body until he felt her muscles all relax and then pulled away to consider his options.

Zoro had been taught how to massage. Sometimes muscles cramped up and you had to work the spasms out; sometimes you wanted to inflict pain in an opponent. It had all been part of his training and he had been a very diligent student.

"Breathe in deep." He repressed a wild thrill when he saw how quickly she complied. His hands gently massaged her neck, making small circles as he went, trailing up to her ears. When he reached her earlobes her gently rubbed the lower halves, smiling when he heard her murmur softly into the pillows. It had been a good choice; her neck was wonderfully sensitive. Since she was part beast she always had a high erogenous zone in that spot. He'd first been amazed but as he grew accustomed to it he found it was marvelously helpful. Now he bent forward and lightly kissed the hollow just below her ear, trailing his tongue along the strip of skin he'd chosen to tease. Elly dug her hands into the sheets and he growled softly, vibrating his lips against her sensitive skin.

"Mmm..." He bared his teeth and rubbed them against the skin as his hands gently kneaded her upper back. Now he could not only hear her desire but feel it: her body rose and fell as he teased, then massaged. Never too much teasing, he didn't want her to tense too much and get hurt. Just enough for her to pant and moan, to sigh his name into the soft pillows. He kissed her throat softly and muttered in her ear.

"Keep breathing deeply." Zoro couldn't resist an ear-nibble to go along with the command and she shivered appreciation. "Gonna strip." He heard her giggle faintly as he backed off the bed and had an idea. Untying the bandanna from his head he reached over and grasped one of her wrists lightly. "Can you sit up a little?"

"Course I can." She did and he found all the blood he had in his body rushing into his cheeks and groin. His face burned and his lower half felt just as much on fire. He swallowed and touched her cheek as she watched him, still laying on her belly but propped up on her elbows. He couldn't speak, he simply held out the bandanna and stroked her forehead with a finger. She immediately knew what he wanted to do and her heart began to race. "B -blindfold?"

Oh, how he blushed! But those dark eyes smoldered hotter still. Zoro stuck his lip out in that pout she found too adorable for words. He slowly nodded and wrapped the cloth around her forehead, tugging down on it to cover her eyes.

"That okay?" He leaned forward again. "Not uncomfortable?"

"It's fine," she smiled. Then she gasped as her next sentence was cut off before she even had a chance. Zoro moved swiftly, his hands holding the sides of her face and his mouth greedily covering hers. She hadn't realized how much this might excite him as it did her. The prospect of making love without knowing what the big man was planning to do half-stifled her with sudden lust. He was so quiet! He could sneak up on her without even really trying. If she was paying attention she could smell and hear where he was if she were in one of her anthro forms. When she was human she felt a little blind anyways. And with that strip of cloth covering her vision she felt completely helpless. He withdrew after a few wild moments and Elly heard faint thumps and grunting as he shed the rest of his clothing. Two loud bangs proclaimed he had, as usual, thrown his heavy boots aside - probably into a wall or piece of furniture. The muttered curse she heard afterwards made her think it had been the latter. She laid back down and rested her head sideways on the pillows, so as not to disturb the blindfold. It smelled like him. She sighed.

The bed creaked as he climbed back on.

"Hey," he called softly. "Kitten..."

Her breath caught in her throat. He called her that name but rarely; and only when he was really in the mood for an extremely prolonged bout of loving. She felt fingers graze her back and then warm skin rested against her body. A hard length of manhood rubbed hotly between her thighs but it didn't feel like it was on purpose. His body was simply excited.

"Zoro?"

"Hmm." Zoro's hands brushed the base of her neck and she shivered. "What?" Warm breath on her ear. He licked lingeringly along the lobe and she couldn't remember what she was going to say. His low chuckle brought her back to her senses.

"Can I have a kiss?"

"Where?" She could hardly believe the subtle lilt of his voice. Had he just asked her that?

"Zoro!" The chuckle grew into a full laugh. Calloused, strong hands slipped along her back to her rear, and then lower as he stroked her thighs. Fingertips grazed gently along, almost where she wanted them to be but not close enough. Her moans were orchestrated by his touch and he played with her body for some time, amazed at the fact that he could make her want him so badly. The big man finally slid down on the bed until he was almost falling off it. He bent at the waist and started kissing her back, hot swirls of tongue and soft brushes of lips that swept down like a wave until he reached the cleft of her bottom. He turned his head and kissed one cheek and she laughed faintly; he did the same to the other and she sighed.

Now he was nervous.

He'd never done anything like what he wanted to before but knew he wanted to try. Brushing aside his reservations, he kissed lower and nuzzled her thighs with his tongue. Elly writhed on the bed below him, facedown of course, so her movements were limited. His access to what he wanted was limited as well but he thought it would do for a start. Zoro squirmed further down and kissed between her thighs, wondering at the odd folds and flaps of skin so different from his body's sex. Boldened by the feverish cry she gave at his faintest touch he lightly stroked the lower folds with a finger as his tongue lapped. He barely touched anything with his mouth but his finger gently slipped inside. He withdrew and watched her face as he slowly worked it in and out.

"Oh sweetheart, bite my neck..."

He suddenly couldn't breathe.

"Ah, what?" He choked on the few words that pushed past his restricted throat. Breathing roughly, he reached out and untied the blindfold. It had almost fallen off anyway. Her deep purple eyes stared hotly into his and he shuddered at the implications within them.

"Kitten, what's gotten into you?"

"Zoro, I'm sorry," she panted, "But when you were doing that behind me, I..." She paused, whined, and arched her back, unable to continue. Her lover frowned. Zoro didn't usually have giant leaps of intellectual thought, but he struggled with this for a few moments, his hand gently stroking her back to calm her.

He called her stupid cat, or kitten when they were intimate. It's what she had been when he first met her. And how did cats make love? He really didn't know but he knew the basic position: the one he'd been in. Elly seemed nervous and maybe even uncomfortable for the first time since they'd made love. He pulled her up off the bed and into his arms immediately, holding her close.

"Shh, kitten," he whispered. "Shh."

"I shocked you, I'm sorry."

"Bah. What's wrong with that?" He rocked her a little, then kissed her neck. He did it again and then growled against it. A loud mew made him rush onwards, trying to explain. "We always did this when you were human. Should love you every way."

"What..." She began, but he shook his head then said again, more firmly.

"Do love you every way." He laid her back down on the bed in her original position and hugged his body close to hers. "Change."

"No it's okay, I..."

"Change." His voice was the rumble of an approaching storm, stern, commanding. He snarled against her side, roughly, with love and greedy lust.

"But..." Elly was panting so quickly she could barely get enough air but she couldn't stop. She had been sure this was a bad idea but couldn't think of why now.

"<i>Change</i>, cat!" Zoro was rubbing against her soft behind, losing what little control he had. He wanted to take her the way she wanted, now. It wasn't just that it seemed important but now that the idea had been planted in his mind he wanted fur caressing his skin as he thrust, a tail tickling his chest as they made love. It inflamed him; it was so different, it was a challenge! He never backed away from anything different. She was wavering in her resolve when he bared his teeth again and bit her neck fairly hard.

Purple striped fur flashed quickly under his fingers and lightly sweating body. He gasped at the erotic thrill; it was like he'd been deftly tickled in places he didn't know felt that good. He soon had a tail waving in his face, long and split at the tip. Zoro absently threw it back over his shoulder and hoisted himself up. He didn't bother to ask if she was ready since her entire body spoke it louder than words. He took a shuddering breath and set himself, pushing in as slow as he could. He'd closed his eyes so he didn't see her face turning around as much as it could to try and watch him. When he opened them again he noticed her ears were flicking back.

"All right?"

"Was going to ask the same thing..."

"M'fine," Zoro grunted, thrusting evenly. He grinned through the pleasure. Another little game they sometimes enjoyed. He was good at hiding his emotions and could hold a normal conversation unless thoroughly provoked.

"So am I," she panted, digging sharp claws into the mattress. The big man chuckled and reached down to stroke her tail. He cheated outrageously when it came to these games. Elly's fur actually raised along her back as she hissed.

"Why, you little..!"

"Not little," Zoro's voice was getting rougher.

"Ha!" She choked and moaned softly.

"Ergh..." He was straining. She heard him, knew that little catch in his voice. So she purred his name softly, seductively, gasping at the end. Zoro clutched her hips and moved faster, a properly-aimed thrust causing her pleasure to peak suddenly. When she cried his name this time it was during orgasm and he completely lost control. Shuddering, he fell forwards onto her body. His full-throated exclamation of release was loud enough to cause her amusement.

"Damn, they had to hear that downstairs," she whispered.

"Good," he panted. He removed himself from her body with a small pang and quickly handed her a tissue from the side table to clean up. "Makes us even."

Nekotonezumi - 2

Shota/Els AU
_

"Not my right. My duty." He rummaged through his bag and pulled an extra robe out. "Put this on."

She did with some reluctance, sniffing at the fabric distastefully. "This smells like you, filth."

"Ah, good times." Hizashi grinned wickedly. "Remember when I first insulted you, ya hairless monkey?"

"I'm not hairless, and yes. You all run your mouths pretty well."

"Hairless monkey? That's more than he deserves. He's a mouse."

"A mouse, eh?" He picked her up when she refused to move, slinging her over his shoulder and ignoring her shriek of protest. "You do realize in our culture the mouse is held in greater regard than the cat?"

"Because the filthy thing tricked the cat!"

"That's true, isn't it, Hizashi?"

"Yeah, you told me your fairy tales."

"Besides," she snarled angrily, "like all vermin, your eyes glow red in the dark."

Hizashi doubled over laughing. They had walked a fair distance from the graves now, and the demon hunter plopped her down like a sack off his shoulder, eliciting another yowl from the cat woman. He snorted laughter and began setting up camp for the night.

"Well." Aizawa busied himself laying sticks in a pattern for their nightly fire. "This mouse caught a cat very easily once again. So there must be something to the tales."

"I don't like using my strongest power!" She made a terrible face and pulled her hands inside her sleeves. "That's the only reason you caught me, you disgusting human!"

"Easy now," the thunder demon murmured, swirling around Aizawa's side. "You know he's part demon himself."

"No, he's not. He might have some blood in his veins, but he's not one of us." She spat, her face twisted in pain. "Only a human would inflict this much suffering without cause."

"She's got you there, y'know."

"Shut up!" He stared down at the cat woman. "There is cause here. You're being brought back to the village you terrorized. They'll decide what to do with you."

"Those idiots! I didn't do anything to them!"

"Yes." He checked her collar, making sure it wasn't about to come loose. "That's what they all say, cat."

"Don't call me cat. I'm not a beast."

"Oh? You have a name?"

"Eruri Fang." She thrust her lower lip out. "I'm called Elly now."

Aizawa raised an eyebrow. "That confirms my theory, you realize. Named demons are stronger. More of a danger to humanity."

"More lies. Humans name things to control them. They hate things they don't understand, so they tack words they do unto them. I didn't get stronger because of a stupid name."

The Abyss

Els/Shota AU
_

It was night time in the small cove where a furtive figure darted about, checking and triple checking lists and equipment. A round metal vessel with powerful engines floated in the dark water, and the figure finally clambered inside, the hatch squealing closed behind them.

"Check, check... scrubber's fine, okay. Backup. Radio, just in case." The person lifted their head, tucking twin purple locks of hair behind her ears. "I'm ready," she gasped with nervous excitement. "Time to visit the depths."

Elly had always been fascinated by the ocean abyss. When others thought the moon was the "final frontier", she wondered why people didn't understand they didn't know everything about their own planet yet! Well, she was out to change that. This tiny sub was capable of travelling far down into the deepest parts of the ocean. She grinned and set it in motion, crossing her fingers.

"Here we go."

The Ocean Zones were breathtaking; each one with its own beauty, colors, and creatures. She watched, entranced, as Sunlight gave way to Twilight, where silvery sparkles flashed by in schools and jellyfish bubbled past her tiny viewing window. These gave way to the Midnight zone with zooming red shrimps and flashy hatchet fish. She found she had started to hold her breath when the inky darkness slipped into the eerie Abyss. Her vessel couldn't reach the Trenches, but this would be enough for now.

There would be nothing... and then, suddenly, a cascade of fireworks, lights flashing in cascades or bursts all around. She saw a couple of angler fish, giant females with their tiny, parasitic mates attached to the sides of their bodies.

Twin red dots flashed in the darkness, zeroing in on her submersible. They seemed to be tracking her wherever she went, though she knew that was foolish. It was probably just a few creatures showing up at different times when she looked up. There was a larger flash of light and she frowned, shocked at the size. That lure was much bigger than anything previously recorded. Thinking it might be a new species, she positioned the craft and aimed directly at it, shining the sub's light into the water.

The creature blinked, confused. What was this huge thing doing in the deep? His own bulk was immense; nothing else approached it except the errant dead whale that drifted down to settle on the ocean floor from time to time. No, this thing was rounder and more intriguingly, seemed to be made up of different colors he never saw down this far. So he followed, keeping a safe distance away but not letting it out of his sight. Then bright lights flashed, and he saw into the porthole on the side. There was a woman inside it! He gasped in shock, bubbles rising as he used his mouth for something other than eating underwater. He had to get closer now. She looked pale, pretty, and just as lonely as he was.

He flicked out his lure again, enticingly, hoping she could see it and would know it was a signal.

Elly's eyes widened. When she turned the lights one way, the bioluminescence deliberately moved away. It was almost as if this being was sentient and trying to converse with her. Of course, that was insane, and she admitted to herself with a low chuckle that she was probably just oxygen deprived. She stayed still, lowering the intensity of the light to see if it would come closer.

He whisked his tail through the water, bringing him up to the window before he could think too much. Elly was staring intently out as he rushed forward, and she let out a startled yelp as the impossible happened. The face of the creature was illuminated by the search light, showing white skin and jet black hair stubbling along a very human upper lip and jaw. She rubbed her eyes in disbelief - it was a man! He blinked at her, stunned partially by the light he was not accustomed to, and placed a hand on the small window. There was a thin network of webbing but there were definitely four fingers and a thumb. She reached out and held hers up against it.

It was so small, her hand on his. He saw that he had been correct, this was a female. But why was she was locked inside this hard shell where he couldn't reach? After all this time he had finally found another, and now he wasn't even able to communicate properly. He moved closer and sadly pressed his face to the little hand. How he wished she could touch him.

He had dark circles under his glowing red eyes, patches that shone when he turned his head sharply to wave something out of the way. She didn't see the lure but knew he had been the one using it to communicate. One eye had a frightening looking scar underneath it, remnants of a fight perhaps, but she could only vaguely guess with what. Unfortunately, she was running out of time and had to start the long journey up. Elly pointed, desperate to let him know where she was going. She didn't want to leave, especially now, but she would die when the scrubber couldn't oxygenate the air any longer. He frowned, watching her as she frantically pointed, then realized she was a mammal that needed air and the shell could only hold so much. He nodded, hair flowing about in the dim light, then tapped his chest and pointed up as well.

She looked alarmed and pantomimed an explosion. He understood her concern as he had once taken a creature from the deep up with him when he was little. He shook his head to alleviate her fears. No, he could travel all the way up and yes, he was following her. The only difference would be he would surface in the open sea instead of the cave he normally used. He knew the dangers but couldn't help himself. None of the land mammals had ever come to his domain before and his parents had been very explicit in their rules. No one of their kind was to make contact unless they were reached out to first.

The trip up was even more exhilarating than the other had been. She cursed the tiny porthole a thousand times, unable to see him in his entirety as he swam around her sub. Once, a bull shark swam close and he spread his arms out as if to protect her until it swam away. She was growing fond of him already and wondered what his name was, if he even had one. She had so many questions!

The surface loomed at last and her heart pounded madly as they reached it together. The sea sparkled with the shiny points of so many stars overhead, shattering in a silvery fountain as he broke the calm surface. He swept his hands around to pull his hair back as he breached, the gills on his neck flattening and smoothing into near invisibility. In the light of the moon his eyes looked gray and not red as they had in the abyss. She hurriedly popped the hatch and crawled out, glad it was a tropical climate and she had been wearing a swimsuit under her clothes. She could join him if it appeared safe. He waited for her patiently, his tail keeping him afloat as he watched her climb out. His lower half resembled that of a black dragon fish, smooth skinned with beautiful lights that ran down the dark length, designed to attract prey in the deep. It appeared more sinuous than a fish tail and much stronger, however. The base had a set of multiple fins and two feathered ones that covered him around halfway down.

"You're amazing," was all she could say.

He tilted his head as if struggling to remember something very difficult. "No... you are ... more." His voice was deep and soft.

"I'm glad you can speak," she sighed. "We seemed to communicate well enough under water, but I wasn't sure if you had the ability since you might not have had the need."

"I just... haven't in a long time." He shrugged as he swam closer to the sub. "No one to talk to anymore." When he got close he stared at her quizzically and held out his arms.

"Oh," she gasped. Well, there wasn't a question of wanting. She slipped down and into the water and his arms.

"You can swim."

"You sound surprised."

"Well..." He ducked his head under the water for a moment, then came back up with his lower lip twitching in dry amusement. "As graceful as any mammal can with those two sticks of yours, anyway."

She snorted. "Thanks. So, um. Do you have a name? Mine is Elly. Elly Sketchit."

"My family name is Aizawa. My ..." He paused, an expression of pain crossing his features momentarily. "Mother called me Shota."

"I have the feeling she isn't with you anymore. I'm sorry, Shota."

"I haven't seen anyone in a long time. They were gone when I was old enough to take care of myself."

"Your parents?"

He nodded. "I knew creatures that were half like me existed, but never saw any until you." His speech was flowing better now that he had been talking for awhile. "Let me hold you. Your sticks are tired."

"Legs," she laughed. "They're called legs."

"Whatever." He reached out and grasped her in his arms. She was surprised at the warmth of his body and grew shy at the close contact, blushing but willing since he seemed so sincere.

"You looked sad down there. You must have been lonely."

"I was." He sighed, rubbing the skin of her arm to compare it with his. "Not anymore."

"Well, um. That's good."

"You looked lonely, too. That's why I tried to contact you."

"You were the big light."

He nodded. "Yes."

"But how? I don't see anything except the markings on your tail or your ah - headlights," she added, motioning to the patches under his eyes.

He opened his mouth wide.

"Is that a - you do have a lure!"

"Yes." He unfurled the bioluminescent tip from his tongue and she measured it, exclaiming softly.

"Used to catch food in the abyss?"

He nodded, folding it back to lay hidden again. "I get a lot of fish from the upper levels, though. I only like the shrimps in the deep. The other things are not to my taste, and few and far between, as it were."

"Yeah. I have favorite foods, too." She patted the side of her cheek, harder when her mind refused to move from thoughts of kissing him. She was afraid she sounded like an idiot.

"Would you like to feel?" He placed a warm, smooth palm on the other side of her face as he approached her.

Elly felt dizzy. Here was this fantasy man, handsome and apparently very willing to be with her. It had been a long time since she had been with anyone, and, truth be told, she had become disillusioned with the human race. It was difficult to believe this was happening, and perhaps that's why she let him softly press his lips to hers. They kissed for some time, gently, mouths brushing against each other. Aizawa finally sighed and reached up to caress her other cheek, holding her to him as he fluttered his tongue inside. She met his touch with her own, sliding along his teeth and tongue. There was no way to detect the lure unless he used it and this fascinated her. Everything about him was thrilling and not just from a scientific point of view. Her heart beat so quickly she was on the verge of losing her breath and she closed her eyes, giving in to the moment.

Desire that had eluded him so long flooded his entire body as they kissed, pooling in his groin and making him pleasantly uncomfortable. That he wanted her was not the question and from her light touch as they kissed he knew she felt the same way. What he wasn't sure of was the way humans forged relationships. He wanted to be certain she would be his with or without the massive amount of pheremones he was secreting. His lure rolled out and he heard her gasp at the feathery touch far back in her throat.

"Wh - what's happening..?"

The tip of the lure burst, the symbiotic bacteria releasing into her system. About half remained in his now smaller line which he tucked away once more. "You can be mine," he murmured lowly.

"What..."

"You still have a choice. But I've imprinted with you. If you wish to be with me, the bacteria inside you will make it possible. If not, you may leave the water and they will die."

"I seriously have to be dreaming." She shook her head.

"If this were a dream, what would you do?" He asked curiously.

"I would let you take me away from all the stupid shit I have to deal with. From all the cruel people out there."

"And we could be happy?"

"Yes."

"Then do this." He bent and nibbled on her neck. "I have waited far too long to feel a lover's touch."

"Oh." Elly blushed, but pushed aside her inhibitions. This was either a real merman, or she was dreaming. In either case, he was attractive and she was honestly drawn to him. If it had been a club wouldn't she maybe go home with someone? This seemed far more personal and permanent than a one night stand. He was offering her a fantasy come true.

"Elly," he whimpered softly. "Please."

"Oh, Shota. I want you. I really do." She reached out and tentatively touched his chest.

Aizawa moaned softly as she kept going, stroking lower until she reached his tail. "Lower, please, lower..."

"I - I don't know what I'm doing. Or - or what to expect."

"Below the anal fin, there's a slit... there," he breathed as his sex slipped eagerly out into her hand. "You found me."

"Oh... oh, Shota, it's - you're just like a human here!"

"We mate with you if need be, that's why. Only a few differences..." He wheezed as she gently stroked him, "like how we can retract our genitalia."

"How do we..?"

Aizawa pulled her naked body close, facing him in the water. "Let me show you. My body knows what to do."

"Yes."

His tail curled around her lower half, the coils moving until he could maneuver his sex to hers. "I'm so glad you decided to mate with me," he panted. "I want you so much." He found her warm heat and sighed with pleasure. "Relax, and accept my body so that we can begin."

"God, Shota!" The penetration was intense. She had thought he was exactly like a human male but now she knew differently. "Wh - how?"

"Little bit on top of my penis, another on the tip." He thrust, grinning widely at her. "Designed to hit your pleasure spots. Makes us irresistible to you, keeps you with us while we finish."

"You were already irresistible!"

"Ahhh." He shuddered lightly all over. "Flatterer."

"I mean that. I mean, we just met..." She shivered with pleasure and fell backwards in his arms.

"My kind forges an instant bond with anyone we find suitable. You are a pretty mammal, and brave. I chose you."

"But you said I could choose!"

"You can. If you leave me, you will stay fully human. If you remain with me in the water, you will develop into one of my kind.

"Am I not pleasuring you enough?" His thrusts paused as a worried expression crept across his pale features. "I thought this act was supposed to be so good we would not talk so much."

She smiled, touching the side of his face briefly. "This is a big deal for me," she said seriously. "You're making me feel very good, I just wanted to be sure. Please don't stop."

"Ah," he grunted affably, resuming his movements to their mutual delight. She curled her legs around his tail and he wondered what it would be like when they were more suited for each other.

"You might want to hold onto me." She looked up at him. She really was lovely in her passion, he thought. The hectic patches of color on her cheeks, teary eyes and parted lips all combined to make her even more beautiful. He kissed her and slowly licked her lips, murmuring into her mouth. "My orgasm will fill you like no other."

"To - to make sure..."

"Yes." He locked his smoldering eyes on her. "To make sure I impregnate you."

"Sh - Shota, I'm on birth control, it..."

"I know what it means." He bit her neck, groaning in ecstasy. "That doesn't diminish my wanting to put a baby in you. I will come, twice, hard. Be prepared."

"Twice?!"

"I will make you come, too," he whispered in her ear. "Your body fits so perfectly with me inside it that there can be no doubt. Later..." He groaned loudly, his arms tightening around her as his release approached, "later I will love you again, and it will take. We're no longer alone, together!"

Both of them cried out in the still of the night, and no one heard.

Several months later a diver was sent to search for any clues as to where the marine biologist had gone. The sub had been found but no records, video or person had ever been recovered. He started at the dive site near the cove and sank down into the waters below. The route was set along the rocky wall of the bay and there was some thought that she may have gotten trapped in a hidden cavern. He searched aling the rock face, peering into holes and ducking moray eels that were viciously territorial along the way. He found nothing, only when he reached the maximum depth limit he spared a look down into the inky blackness she had dove into with her submersible. Frightening, that. You wouldn't catch him going so far down. The dark seemed almost to swirl with a malevolent force, moving under him. He choked when he realized there was something there! The dark shape moved in the water, and a terrifying pair of red eyes shone up at him for a moment. He yelped and swam away as quickly as he could, but not before he saw another, smaller form slip around to the larger one's side.

Aizawa stared up at the intruder with narrowed eyes. He watched as the human sped away to the surface with a great sense of relief. Those beings usually brought nothing but bad luck.

Usually.

Elly slipped close to his side, twining her long, dark tail with his. She shrugged and indicated that she would need food again. She was barely showing, her stomach only a small bump, but absolutely ravenous as to be expected. He placed an arm protectively around his mate and led her back to the deep underwater caverns that were their home.

Nekotonezumi - 1

Shota/Els AU
_

The night air was cool on his skin as he raced through the thicket, ignoring the sting as leaves and branches sliced the exposed skin of his face. His familiar demon laughed wildly beside him, racing alongside in an arcing slash of electricity.

"'No problem', hmm? 'Just a little cat', huh? I told you this one was a she-beast!"

"Shut up." The man slowed at the edge of a clearing that led to the sea. The vegetation slowly dwindled here until sea grass and sand were the only things in sight. A trail of pawprints lay before them as they reached the water, and he bent to squint down the beach.

"She ran down the strand."

"No, really. I thought she went for a swim." The being paused to take on his more human form. He had pale skin and a normal human body for the most part. His golden hair, however, curled up from the back of his head unnaturally. A soft green wrapping with depictions of storm clouds covered his waist, leaving his tattooed upper body bare except for two silver cuffs on his wrists. Curls of colored, roiling clouds and lightning tapered down his shoulders and down his arms, while his back had a curious pattern of circular drums. "You want me to ...?" He turned around, his green, oddly spiralled eyes questioning.

"No." The man stood, grimacing as his knees popped. In contrast to the demon at his side he was rather unremarkable looking, pale, with a scruffy days' worth of stubble always on his face and a half moon scar under his right eye. His long black hair was tied back with a rawhide thong in a messy ponytail that accentuated his worn features. He wore a black hakama with baggy gray pants underneath and an open chested robe, but he was not equipped like a samurai and carried only a simple bag. "We can track her, Hizashi. Let her wear herself out before we reach her. Then she will be easier to catch."

"You're far more evil than we are, Aizawa Shota."

"So you say." He pointed at the long run ahead of them. "Let's go."

They reached her as she sped up the beach to a small cemetery near an old, broken down village. The nekomata spun about, her lavender pupils dissolving into an unnatural white glow as she hissed a warning. Her double-tipped tail slashed wildly through the air as she set her paws firmly in the dirt.

Aizawa stopped to catch his breath. "You're coming with me one way or another, cat."

She growled ominously, backing away from him and baring a mouthful of sharp teeth.

"That would be far more intimidating if you were larger, you realize." Hizashi stood some distance away, leaning on one of the larger gravestones. He yawned and stretched his arms over his head. "Call me if you need me, you pathetic piece of shit."

"I won't need you for a job small as this, windbag."

Her eyes narrowed as he spoke. She glanced back over her shoulder at the cemetery. "Don't come any closer. I'll bring up an entire army!"

"Will you?" He calmly reached into his bag and pulled something out that glinted coldly under the light of the moon. "Try."

She shook herself, then jumped at him, transforming along the way into a much more frightening spectacle of fur, fangs and razor-sharp, three inch claws. She slashed at the air in front of him, but he stepped quickly back. His gray eyes suddenly glowed bright red, tracking her as she leapt again. She yowled in confusion as her form shrank down to normal cat size, and Aizawa easily caught her. He snapped what he held around her neck - a silver collar wrought with inscriptions meant to hold her in check. The demon screamed, an eerily human sound, and fell onto the ground before him, writhing in agony.

He blinked. The feline was now a pale, trembling woman with short, dark purple hair, cat ears and a tail. She pounded her leg with a fist and screamed again in fury.

"Hizashi."

"Yeah?" He cracked an eyelid open.

"She can change form, too."

The thunder demon whistled appreciatively. "Whoo, you're not kidding, boss. I didn't know cats could do that."

"So kill me already," she demanded, staring up at her captor. "That's what you humans all want, isn't it? Get it over with!"

Aizawa raised an eyebrow as she thrust her bare chest defiantly at him. "You know I probably can't."

"Yes. But you'll try." Her ears laid back and she suddenly flinched away from the ocean nearby. He bent to help her up but she wrenched her arm out of his hand. "Don't touch me!"

"You're going to need clothing."

"Not going to kill me right away? There's only one reason for that I can think of." She rolled to her feet and backed away from him. "If you try to lay with me, you filth, I'll bite it off!"

He pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger, sighing wearily. "I'm not depraved enough to try and sleep with a monster."

"You're the monster!" She took a few more steps.

"I wouldn't get too far from him, if I were you," Hizashi called out. She ignored him and spun about as if to run. Aizawa folded his hands into his sleeves and waited calmly. She didn't get far before the collar glowed red and she gasped, falling once more in a crumpled heap.

"You're bound, demon." The dark haired man walked over to her and stood staring blandly down into her agonized eyes. "You can't escape me; if you walk further than ten paces away the collar will cause you incredible pain."

Hizashi picked her up, stroking a fall of hair away from her cheek. "I'm sorry."

"Why are you with him?!"

"Oh, I'm bound, too." Hizashi tapped the wristlets he wore, then pointed at her collar. "Same way you are, sweetheart."

"Damn it! Do you think it's your right to enslave us, human?"

The man sitting in front of her in the kitchen had contacted them a week or so ago. Standard procedure meant that it took at least that long for security to do a background check, since they were extremely thorough, and then he'd get an interview. Elly was at the end of that process right now, having accepted him as a member of the compound. She pursed her lips as she scrolled through several forms on her phone's screen. The newcomer sat there patiently, projecting an air of alertness although his eyes were bleary. He looked like he needed a week's rest at the very least.

"Ha, here it is. Last question." She tapped quickly, asking questions in a soft voice. "Special talents or abilities?"

"I can erase anyone's supernatural abilities by staring at them. The wrapping is for those I can't reach." He plucked at the long cloth strips hanging around his neck.

"Whew." She perked her ears forward. "Could you stop me, I wonder?"

"I'm not sure this works on actual demons," he drawled, but he opened his eyes wide, his pupils flashing red. Elly immediately lifted the cup on the table in front of them without touching it and shook her head.

"I guess not. But it'd be handy for others. And your wrapping..." She frowned, trailing off. "No matter! That's awesome. You'll do well here."

"Good." He suddenly smiled, the expression lighting up his weary face and making him look years younger.

Elly blinked, then cleared her throat to cover her momentary confusion. "There's tons of open rooms at the dorm - it's an apartment complex to the west of the mansion here. That's where all the guys live, if that's okay with you?"

He nodded. "Yeah."

"I'm sending you a map and your entrance codes from our app - one's for your room door, the other for the dorm itself. After a month's time you get the code for the mansion, too. The second floor here has a game room with movie theater and all kinds of stuff, and gym. Lots of the guys like to use them."

"Huh." He nodded.

"With your power and fighting ability, Zoro might want you for security... but everything is up to you, honestly." She tapped into her phone. "There, sent it to you." A soft chime rang someplace deep in the man's clothing. He reached down where she couldn't see and pulled his phone out. "Anyway, everyone takes turns and does what they like. It's managed to work out smoothly so far. Everyone's been informed of your arrival, so the guys at the dorm will probably fill you in on whatever else you need."

"All right," he grunted, heaving himself to his feet. "And tomorrow?"

"Everything's explained in the messages on your phone. You can have up to a week to adjust, if you need it, then you have to figure out how you're going to contribute. It's really relaxed... if you couldn't figure that out from the interview here in the kitchen. Heh." She laughed softly. "Some of the guys here even have such specialized abilities they just hang out most of the time." The door to the hall on the left opened at that moment, and Zoro entered the room as she spoke. His eye narrowed as he sized up the new guy.

"I was wondering when you were going to show up," Aizawa said drily.

"You knew he was there?" Elly asked, surprised. Not many people realized she was guarded that closely when they first arrived.

"Yes." He tilted his head up to stare at the big man. "You're very protective of her, aren't you?"

"I'm her bodyguard." Zoro grunted and sat down next to Elly, who grinned at him. "It's my job."

"Ah. You're the one I have to talk to, then."

"Maybe." He eyed the lean man suspiciously. "Can you fight?"

"Want to see?"

Zoro grinned for the first time that day. He waved a hand dismissively, shaking his head. "Go get settled today. We'll talk later." Aizawa smirked back and shuffled out the door to the entrance.

"Promising," Elly murmured when he was out of earshot. Zoro grunted, keeping him in sight until he saw him head out the door. "I'm a little nervous about his wrappings, though," she admitted. He raised an eyebrow at her and she continued, "they're easily written on, which makes them a classic candidate for, well, you know. Those things."

"Yeah." He rubbed at the side of his face in thought. "We'll keep an eye on him. It might prove useful in time, though."

"Really? Thinking of taking me down, are you?"

"Hell, no!" He looked shocked and she giggled at his expression. "Ah, you still going to the library?"

"Changing the subject," she snickered. "Well, yeah. I think I'd like to take some books out for tonight. It's always nice to just, you know, hold one in your hands. I like tablets and phones and all, but it's different."

He shrugged. "Whenever you want."

"I can go now, actually." She pushed the chair back and stretched, tail twitching. "I want to have them in my hand before dinner, and that place is huge."

"No kidding," he snorted. They walked out through the entrance hall and Zoro stopped when they got to the large doors. Briefly touching the panel that was to the right of every door in the mansion, he pulled up the menu for the driver and spoke briefly with him.

"Who's driving today?"

"I don't know... uh. That blue-haired moron."

"Ugh," she sighed in exasperation. "That could be like, four guys."

"No. Look." He walked behind her as she strolled out to the monorail stop. An elongated car zipped up with a whooshing sound, stopping smartly on point. The driver side door opened and an energetic young man leaped out to dart around the car and open the door facing them.

"James?"

"Hi, Elly," he said shyly in that cultured voice of his. He was wearing a simple white shirt and jeans but had on the black jacket they required all the drivers to wear for appearances. He happily handed her his signature rose as she approached.

Elly folded her ears back to glare at her bodyguard. "You meant Morgan?" Zoro looked the other way. She swore he was smiling. "Be nice," she scolded him. Then, to James, "We're gonna head to the library, okay?"

"Great!" He flipped that dangling forelock of his out of the way and waited until they both got in to close the door and scramble around again. A few taps of the computerized screen and the vehicle sped along the rails again, zooming towards the front of the park. Minutes later when they arrived, Zoro got out first amid the crowd of people that had gathered curiously near the larger than normal transport. A glance from him was enough to tell them to stay back as he waited by her door and escorted her into the tall building. Elly waited patiently in line like everyone else until they were able to enter. She signed a few things while waiting, but mostly people were happy to whip out their phones and take pictures of the nekomata with her ever-present guard.

"Ah, hello," she smiled once inside at the librarian, seated behind his tall desk.

"What books did you want to take out?" He asked in a quiet voice, as always getting right to the point.

Elly pursed her lips and looked up at the ceiling for a moment. "Deep sea creatures," she told the man.

He nodded. "Downstairs thrice, to the left, in the blue-doored room. Next to deep sea diving, hydrothermal vents - careful, it's a warm section -- and, ah, deep sea fishing."

"Thank you."

"Elevator or stairs?" Zoro looked hopefully at the stairway. It was less cluttered as most people were in line for the elevator. Elly nodded and they stepped into the stairwell. Three flights didn't take too long but as they progressed it grew darker and darker - lit only by small glowing panels on the steps and leading to all the rooms. They followed the blue lights to the same-colored door and entered a papery, deep-sea wonderland. Glowing books hung from the ceiling, their pages dangling and looking for all the world like jellyfish overhead. Aquariums lined the walls and shelving, books floating inside as well as stacked neatly in tight little rows. Zoro walked closer to her as she began to peruse the fishy tomes, senses alert in case anyone else was around. The library was so vast, however, that even though there were many people visiting they happened to be alone for the moment.

"This one... and this. Oh, and this!" She stuck her hand in a tank filled with water and pulled one out that had a huge anglerfish on the cover. Strangely, it wasn't even wet.

"You done yet? This place creeps me out."

"You? Be serious."

"I am. That guy lives here."

"So what?" They carefully closed the door behind them and began the walk back upstairs. "You live with me. It's his job, and this place is huge."

"Eh."

"I think it's the improbability of all this that gets you. Books in a fish tank? But you know stuff doesn't work the same way in the park and the compound like outside." He just grunted again, then pulled her aside as a child ran past near the top of the stairs. Elly waved at him and the little one froze, eyes wide. She heard him calling out to his parents that he saw her as they pushed the doors open to record her book loans.

It wasn't until they were heading back to the mansion again that he spoke. "I like fish."

"You do?" She wrinkled her nose. "Wait, we're not talking about food-wise, are we?"

He snorted. "Stupid cat."

"Really."

"I meant, some are interesting."

"Really?"

"'Really'," he imitated her and she laughed out loud. "Your room has all those tanks."

"It's actually less than what you think, remember. The one is giant, and there's the separate freshwater one in my room." She tapped her hand on her leg and changed the subject with a burst of energy. "You know, I like Aizawa. I think he's gonna do okay here."

"Yeah." Zoro looked as if he were going to say something else, but instead slumped against the door, staring moodily out the window. He was quiet for the rest of the day, too, but he sometimes got like that so she gave him some space and let him do as he pleased.
