"Hey, goggle boy," Zoro tossed off causally, calling out to the man beside him.
"That's it!" Elly snapped, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "No more making fun of him... you're marching right up there and putting that Skypiea outfit on." She paused for effect. "The whole thing."
"Not the goggles." He tried to look properly chastised but a faint smile marred the result.
"Yes, those too." She held out her arms to him.
"Did they have many rooms for rent up there?" The swordsman turned to the fighter, who was now resting back against Bulma and smoking. Zoro's brow wrinkled. <i>Just like that damned cook</i>, he thought. At least he was used to the smell now - a good thing because it took a long time to get the scent out of a full body's length of fur.
"They're a little small, but they're cozy," the blue-haired woman replied. Then she bit her lip and blushed a little. "Um."
"Perfect for..." Hwoarang began, but was cut off as Bulma punched him lightly in the side.
"Oof."
"Shut up," she hissed, turning a darker shade of red. Then she smiled at her friend. "The one in the far right corner is ours though."
"Hnnnf," Zoro grunted as he lifted the furry demon cat in his arms. He appeared to be thinking this over. Elly snuggled happily against his warm chest and grinned toothily back at Bulma. One of her eyes closed in a slow wink. Finally Zoro turned and started up the stairs.
"Neighbors," he waved jokingly to the couple they were leaving behind.
"Their loss, actually," she murmured as he carried her up the dark wooden steps. "You're loud sometimes."
"And you're not? Stupid cat." He walked down the rows of doors to the second to last one and stopped, fumbling for the key he'd had all along.
"Idiot swordsman." She nipped his neck lightly. Zoro shuddered - not noticeably, of course, but she could feel his tense muscles jerk at the touch. He set her down on the cozy little bed and walked into the bathroom where their clothes trunk was.
"You want to bother with this?" His rumbling voice sounded amused when he strolled out a moment or so later. He was holding the sleeveless blue shirt in one hand, goggles in another. He was bare-chested and the green haramaki he always wore was pushed down a ways as if he'd rushed things. Now he raised an eyebrow at the woman pondering him on the bed. Elly stretched languidly, curling her tail around her. Zoro's eyes narrowed speculatively.
"What?"
"Lose the cat form." He walked over and stroked her back once, his gentle touch belying the bland expression on his face. He did manage a grin when she shook herself and changed to cat woman, however. She retained the tail, ears and fangs but lost a great deal of fur.
"Better?" she asked archly.
"Yeah," he grunted and slipped the shirt on. He then chuckled and slung the goggles around his neck to rest on his upper chest. She sat up and hugged him tight, laughing happily. The big man blushed at this sudden display and sat down on the bed next to her, curling an arm around her shoulders. Elly sighed and nuzzled her head against his arm, burrowing even more tightly under it.
"You smell like smoke," she whispered.
"Always smell like that," Zoro supplied helpfully. "Asshole cook smokes."
"Not the same, really." She sat up and crawled in his lap, toying with the protective eyewear. "I think Hwoarang's cigarettes are a different brand." He blinked lazily, watching her play with the goggles for a short while.
"Really like them that much?" He asked finally. She ducked her head shyly.
"They're different," she said as if that explained everything. "You look very sexy in that outfit." Zoro choked on that and she whispered under her breath.
"What was that, cat?" A finger rubbed under her chin and then forced it up so he could stare into her eyes.
"I said," she coughed lightly, "besides everything else." She had the pleasure of seeing his confusion double at that, his blush darkening as his eyes widened. Elly loved startling her beloved. His face always got so shocked at what seemed to her the simplest of things.
"Um..."
"Why so surprised?" she leaned forward and purred into his ear - the one with the earrings. That one was sensitive and she knew it. They jingled musically and she flicked her tongue out to toy with them playfully. Zoro's breath caught and he shrugged.
"Not," he said shortly. Then his hand slipped under her rear and he caressed delicately. "You wouldn't be here if you thought I was ugly, would you?" Elly laughed out loud, throwing her head back. It was a warm, rich laugh that caused Zoro to join in after a moment. There was so much fun and wonder in these first few days after he had openly admitted his love. She laughed, but in a moment her breath caught as his hand started to slide her shorts and underwear off.
"What about some foreplay, love?" A small chuckle escaped her at his innocent face. He then did something that forced her to revise his lovemaking skills. They'd both been virgins when they had started experimenting and at first it seemed the big man was too embarrassed to cope with the finer, subtle aspects of romancing. She'd misjudged him. He had studied her in even more ways than he studied his opponent before a fight. Zoro grinned at her, throwing the jeans and panties aside with no apparent interest. He reached over and untied the bandanna from his left arm.
"All right." He quickly flipped it up and over his head, tying it in place over his hair. This left the glint of his eyes visible under the improvised snood and had always excited her. Zoro's eyes always snapped with energy when he fought, not with bloodlust but for the chance to prove himself again and again. The dark green eyes were smoldering now - and directed at her with all the force of a blow. She blinked and her arms tightened around his neck.
"What are you going to..."
"Do?" he husked, settling her more comfortably in his lap and taking the goggles off. "You'll see... don't think I need these now." Elly silently agreed, a finger or two gently tracing the cords in his neck. He nodded and threw them in the same corner with the lower half of her clothing.
"Hmm," she purred when his hands slowly caressed her back, "That feels good." Zoro grinned ferally and gently bit her neck.
"I know, cat." He paused. "I need something..." He picked her up, carefully bundling her in his strong arms and placing her on the little bed. Then he hunted around in the little bag he'd brought.
"What're you looking for?"
"Ha." He drew out a small bottle of caramel-colored oil. Elly blinked.
"Sanji'll kill you if you took his cooking..."
"Not that kind," Zoro rolled his eyes dramatically. He rolled a little from the bottle onto his palms and briskly rubbed them together. "Comfortable on your front?"
"Want me to roll over, huh?" She raised an eyebrow and complied when he nodded. Zoro sighed gustily and crept above her on the bed. He straddled her as easily as he could to avoid the bed rocking too much and gently pressed down on his partner's shoulders, on either side of the spine. Elly purred faintly when she felt his slick, warm hands on her skin. With a flat hand, fingers together, he moved his hands in parallel lines up either side of her spine, then out and across her shoulders, slowly caressing. He swiped his hands across her upper body until he felt her muscles all relax and then pulled away to consider his options.
Zoro had been taught how to massage. Sometimes muscles cramped up and you had to work the spasms out; sometimes you wanted to inflict pain in an opponent. It had all been part of his training and he had been a very diligent student.
"Breathe in deep." He repressed a wild thrill when he saw how quickly she complied. His hands gently massaged her neck, making small circles as he went, trailing up to her ears. When he reached her earlobes her gently rubbed the lower halves, smiling when he heard her murmur softly into the pillows. It had been a good choice; her neck was wonderfully sensitive. Since she was part beast she always had a high erogenous zone in that spot. He'd first been amazed but as he grew accustomed to it he found it was marvelously helpful. Now he bent forward and lightly kissed the hollow just below her ear, trailing his tongue along the strip of skin he'd chosen to tease. Elly dug her hands into the sheets and he growled softly, vibrating his lips against her sensitive skin.
"Mmm..." He bared his teeth and rubbed them against the skin as his hands gently kneaded her upper back. Now he could not only hear her desire but feel it: her body rose and fell as he teased, then massaged. Never too much teasing, he didn't want her to tense too much and get hurt. Just enough for her to pant and moan, to sigh his name into the soft pillows. He kissed her throat softly and muttered in her ear.
"Keep breathing deeply." Zoro couldn't resist an ear-nibble to go along with the command and she shivered appreciation. "Gonna strip." He heard her giggle faintly as he backed off the bed and had an idea. Untying the bandanna from his head he reached over and grasped one of her wrists lightly. "Can you sit up a little?"
"Course I can." She did and he found all the blood he had in his body rushing into his cheeks and groin. His face burned and his lower half felt just as much on fire. He swallowed and touched her cheek as she watched him, still laying on her belly but propped up on her elbows. He couldn't speak, he simply held out the bandanna and stroked her forehead with a finger. She immediately knew what he wanted to do and her heart began to race. "B -blindfold?"
Oh, how he blushed! But those dark eyes smoldered hotter still. Zoro stuck his lip out in that pout she found too adorable for words. He slowly nodded and wrapped the cloth around her forehead, tugging down on it to cover her eyes.
"That okay?" He leaned forward again. "Not uncomfortable?"
"It's fine," she smiled. Then she gasped as her next sentence was cut off before she even had a chance. Zoro moved swiftly, his hands holding the sides of her face and his mouth greedily covering hers. She hadn't realized how much this might excite him as it did her. The prospect of making love without knowing what the big man was planning to do half-stifled her with sudden lust. He was so quiet! He could sneak up on her without even really trying. If she was paying attention she could smell and hear where he was if she were in one of her anthro forms. When she was human she felt a little blind anyways. And with that strip of cloth covering her vision she felt completely helpless. He withdrew after a few wild moments and Elly heard faint thumps and grunting as he shed the rest of his clothing. Two loud bangs proclaimed he had, as usual, thrown his heavy boots aside - probably into a wall or piece of furniture. The muttered curse she heard afterwards made her think it had been the latter. She laid back down and rested her head sideways on the pillows, so as not to disturb the blindfold. It smelled like him. She sighed.
The bed creaked as he climbed back on.
"Hey," he called softly. "Kitten..."
Her breath caught in her throat. He called her that name but rarely; and only when he was really in the mood for an extremely prolonged bout of loving. She felt fingers graze her back and then warm skin rested against her body. A hard length of manhood rubbed hotly between her thighs but it didn't feel like it was on purpose. His body was simply excited.
"Zoro?"
"Hmm." Zoro's hands brushed the base of her neck and she shivered. "What?" Warm breath on her ear. He licked lingeringly along the lobe and she couldn't remember what she was going to say. His low chuckle brought her back to her senses.
"Can I have a kiss?"
"Where?" She could hardly believe the subtle lilt of his voice. Had he just asked her that?
"Zoro!" The chuckle grew into a full laugh. Calloused, strong hands slipped along her back to her rear, and then lower as he stroked her thighs. Fingertips grazed gently along, almost where she wanted them to be but not close enough. Her moans were orchestrated by his touch and he played with her body for some time, amazed at the fact that he could make her want him so badly. The big man finally slid down on the bed until he was almost falling off it. He bent at the waist and started kissing her back, hot swirls of tongue and soft brushes of lips that swept down like a wave until he reached the cleft of her bottom. He turned his head and kissed one cheek and she laughed faintly; he did the same to the other and she sighed.
Now he was nervous.
He'd never done anything like what he wanted to before but knew he wanted to try. Brushing aside his reservations, he kissed lower and nuzzled her thighs with his tongue. Elly writhed on the bed below him, facedown of course, so her movements were limited. His access to what he wanted was limited as well but he thought it would do for a start. Zoro squirmed further down and kissed between her thighs, wondering at the odd folds and flaps of skin so different from his body's sex. Boldened by the feverish cry she gave at his faintest touch he lightly stroked the lower folds with a finger as his tongue lapped. He barely touched anything with his mouth but his finger gently slipped inside. He withdrew and watched her face as he slowly worked it in and out.
"Oh sweetheart, bite my neck..."
He suddenly couldn't breathe.
"Ah, what?" He choked on the few words that pushed past his restricted throat. Breathing roughly, he reached out and untied the blindfold. It had almost fallen off anyway. Her deep purple eyes stared hotly into his and he shuddered at the implications within them.
"Kitten, what's gotten into you?"
"Zoro, I'm sorry," she panted, "But when you were doing that behind me, I..." She paused, whined, and arched her back, unable to continue. Her lover frowned. Zoro didn't usually have giant leaps of intellectual thought, but he struggled with this for a few moments, his hand gently stroking her back to calm her.
He called her stupid cat, or kitten when they were intimate. It's what she had been when he first met her. And how did cats make love? He really didn't know but he knew the basic position: the one he'd been in. Elly seemed nervous and maybe even uncomfortable for the first time since they'd made love. He pulled her up off the bed and into his arms immediately, holding her close.
"Shh, kitten," he whispered. "Shh."
"I shocked you, I'm sorry."
"Bah. What's wrong with that?" He rocked her a little, then kissed her neck. He did it again and then growled against it. A loud mew made him rush onwards, trying to explain. "We always did this when you were human. Should love you every way."
"What..." She began, but he shook his head then said again, more firmly.
"Do love you every way." He laid her back down on the bed in her original position and hugged his body close to hers. "Change."
"No it's okay, I..."
"Change." His voice was the rumble of an approaching storm, stern, commanding. He snarled against her side, roughly, with love and greedy lust.
"But..." Elly was panting so quickly she could barely get enough air but she couldn't stop. She had been sure this was a bad idea but couldn't think of why now.
"<i>Change</i>, cat!" Zoro was rubbing against her soft behind, losing what little control he had. He wanted to take her the way she wanted, now. It wasn't just that it seemed important but now that the idea had been planted in his mind he wanted fur caressing his skin as he thrust, a tail tickling his chest as they made love. It inflamed him; it was so different, it was a challenge! He never backed away from anything different. She was wavering in her resolve when he bared his teeth again and bit her neck fairly hard.
Purple striped fur flashed quickly under his fingers and lightly sweating body. He gasped at the erotic thrill; it was like he'd been deftly tickled in places he didn't know felt that good. He soon had a tail waving in his face, long and split at the tip. Zoro absently threw it back over his shoulder and hoisted himself up. He didn't bother to ask if she was ready since her entire body spoke it louder than words. He took a shuddering breath and set himself, pushing in as slow as he could. He'd closed his eyes so he didn't see her face turning around as much as it could to try and watch him. When he opened them again he noticed her ears were flicking back.
"All right?"
"Was going to ask the same thing..."
"M'fine," Zoro grunted, thrusting evenly. He grinned through the pleasure. Another little game they sometimes enjoyed. He was good at hiding his emotions and could hold a normal conversation unless thoroughly provoked.
"So am I," she panted, digging sharp claws into the mattress. The big man chuckled and reached down to stroke her tail. He cheated outrageously when it came to these games. Elly's fur actually raised along her back as she hissed.
"Why, you little..!"
"Not little," Zoro's voice was getting rougher.
"Ha!" She choked and moaned softly.
"Ergh..." He was straining. She heard him, knew that little catch in his voice. So she purred his name softly, seductively, gasping at the end. Zoro clutched her hips and moved faster, a properly-aimed thrust causing her pleasure to peak suddenly. When she cried his name this time it was during orgasm and he completely lost control. Shuddering, he fell forwards onto her body. His full-throated exclamation of release was loud enough to cause her amusement.
"Damn, they had to hear that downstairs," she whispered.
"Good," he panted. He removed himself from her body with a small pang and quickly handed her a tissue from the side table to clean up. "Makes us even."

Feline Jealousy

One Piece - Elly x Zoro, adult
.
.
.
Elly sighed pensively as she sat in a darkened corner of the kitchen, watching the rain fall outside. It was relaxing listening to the thunder and the soft peeps of tiny little frogs near the water's edge. She wasn't alone, of course. All the rest of the crew were there and they were loud like they normally were. Amidst the clattering of plates and screaming of the captain for more her ears perked when she heard Zoro's name come up in conversation.
"No, I want to know," Sanji was saying in a low voice. He was grinning like an idiot as he leaned close to the other man. "You had this look when you came on board. It was that spicy little blond, right?"
Elly blinked.
Zoro just glared at the cook but he pressed on. "I know it was." He rolled his visible eye. "C'mon, share! You got laid, didn't you?"
She grit her teeth and tried not to listen, afraid she would cause a scene if she did. If there was anything she didn't want to do, it was tip anyone off about her feelings. It would be a disaster. She couldn't stop her tail from lashing about her legs angrily no matter how hard she tried, however.
And the fool cook kept going on and on. "She offered to rub his back for him 'cause he looked so tense," he snickered. Eventually Elly had the choice of leaving or being driven to tears right where she sat. She got up and walked as quickly to the door as she could.
"Shut up," Zoro muttered darkly.
"You had to have taken her up on her offer," the other said while he set a cup of coffee down in front of Robin. "Why else did you leave so fast?"
Elly broke down despite her best efforts. She slammed on the door with one little fist as hard as she could to open it. She was out of the room and pelting off down the hall a second later, trying to outrun the tears.
"You idiot," Nami hissed, slapping Sanji across his face. He tried to retain his composure but as usual, any form of contact with the red haired girl caused him to become a senseless idiot. She ignored him as he wriggled around, fawning all over her, and pointed at Zoro instead.
"I didn't do anything!" The swordsman protested gruffly.
"That's what you did wrong!"
Elly finally made it out to the open air. She flung herself under the tree where she normally watched him during the day, dashing the tears from her cheeks with one hand. She admitted to herself that she was being childish; she knew that. But she just couldn't seem to help it. She felt like something was missing if he wasn't around, something that was very important and that she needed to live.
Silly, yes.
Melodramatic? Certainly.
But true. She made a little face as she considered this, her ears laying back in irritation. She could only imagine how much respect she would lose in his eyes if he knew. A shadow slipped over the ground at her feet and she jumped up, alarmed.
"You little idiot," Zoro grumbled. He'd followed her after she stormed out. She huffed angrily and tried to push past him but he grabbed her forearm. "Cut that out."
"Let go!"
"No," he said so firmly that she froze in the middle of lifting a leg up to knee him in the groin.
"Come on, I was being stupid. As usual," she added grimly. "It shouldn't matter what you do in your free time."
"I didn't do anything."
"What?"
"I left. You should know I'm not like that pervert," he spat out with such vehemence she flinched a little. "I won't fight anyone that isn't skilled and she wouldn't go away. I had to leave."
"Are you trying to reassure me?"
"Why would I need to do that?" Now he looked amused. Elly cursed silently at herself and wriggled a little. He loosened his grip, but instead of letting her go he placed another hand on the rough bark of the tree on the other side.
"You don't." She tried a smile but it came out all wrong. Almost absently Zoro lifted a hand and stroked a lock of hair back from her face. The gesture shocked her into insensibility and she choked a little, unable to say anything else. The big man stared intently into her eyes for a very long time.
"You should have been there," he finally grunted.
"So I could keep them off you?" Elly's eyes hardened. "Like your personal girl repellant?"
"Stop getting angry," he snapped, dropping her arm to take her by the shoulders.
"How am I supposed to not get ..."
"Did you want to help with my back?"
"What?" She blinked, startled.
"You heard me."
"I don't know what you're ..." She broke off incredulously. "You're serious, aren't you?"
"Why would I joke about lower back pain?" He grunted, reached back to place his hands on the small of his back and grimaced. "All this bullshit really did make me tense."
"'All this bullshit'," she said in a daze as he casually sat down in front of her. Wondering at what was happening, she slowly sank down on the grass with her back to the tree. "You're insane. Did you actually get drunk tonight?"
"I never get drunk," he grunted as he reached over and lightly grasped her wrists in his hands. He set them on his shoulders and then slouched forward expectantly.
"It's the only thing that would explain this," she murmured. Nevertheless, her hands were already on him, greedy to feel the big man's skin under her palms. After only a little bit he startled her even further by tugging the hem of his shirt out of his haramaki. She whipped her hands away, face aflame and eyes wide. Zoro's back surged powerfully, and he wrenched himself out of the plain white cotton without so much as moving from where he sat. Then he turned his head slowly to one side.
"Don't stop."
Coughing a little with shock, she moved immediately to obey, aware that when he spoke in that tone of voice she was powerless to resist. The revelation wasn't humiliating because she knew he'd do anything for her if she asked. She just never had.
Still...
"So, the next time you go out..?" Her hands slowed as she spoke.
"What?" He turned his head to look at her. He reached up again and took her wrists in his hands, this time pulling them about him like a scarf to hug his neck. Elly swallowed hard. She'd been pulled down when he did that a little, and now he was staring quite calmly into her eyes. They were only an inch or so apart with her front resting awkwardly against his back. "I told you. Come with me."
"Do you want me to?"
The corner of his mouth quirked upward the tiniest bit as he stared at her. "I want you."

Elly x Zoro
"Awkward" scenario
Non-Canon Anime/Manga: ONE PIECE

.
"All right," Sanji stated, standing up straight. Today's lunch had been quieter than usual, seeing as most of the crew were gone on a trip. It was just himself, the moss-haired asshole and the half-cat lady with the angel's voice. He was happy because they'd at least left him one woman to fawn over. Smiling to himself, he checked the plates and made certain everything had been put away properly. "Lunch is put away."
"Great." Zoro tossed a dishrag on the counter and stretched his arms over his head. "Time for a nap."
"That sounds like a great idea, Zorokun." She flashed him a fang-toothed grin. Zoro wobbled a little on his feet and Sanji elbowed him in the ribs, waggling an eyebrow at him.
"Shut up," he hissed at the younger man under his breath.
"That got you, though, didn't it." Sanji chuckled. "Honorifics. Whoooo." The subject of their discussion hadn't heard what they were saying. She'd flounced happily out onto the deck to find a spot to settle down.
"I'm surprised no one's back yet." Elly peered out over the sea with one hand cupped over her eyes to shade them from the bright sun. "Didn't they leave for that island an hour ago?"
Zoro grunted as he sat down under his favorite tree. "It'll be a few hours. Not just one."
"Yeah," Sanji agreed. "The girls," he danced about for a moment as he referenced them, "will probably want to take a few moments to relax off ship. They usually do."
"Huh." Elly wrinkled her nose. "I guess I spent too many years on dry land. I like it better here." It's quieter, and the music of the sea calms me."
"My beautiful little Angel." Sanji sat down beside her in the shade and took her hand in his, kissing it lightly. She blushed, unsure of what to say.
"'Little?'" Zoro snorted laughter. Elly's eyes widened, her face darkening further. She swallowed past the huge lump that had suddenly formed in her throat, and though she fought hard, tears started to slip down her cheeks. She was enraged at the fact that he had caused her to cry almost more than the insult. Snatching her hand out of the cook's light grip, she spun around and dashed down the deck, disappearing quickly into the girl's bathroom.
"Oh, you are a fucking idiot," Sanji sighed, hanging his head. He clapped both hands over the blade that came swishing automatically at him and snarled at the big man in a rage. "Stop that! Can't you think without those for a second?"
"Don't call me stupid and maybe I won't," Zoro snapped.
"Well, now," Sanji drawled. "It's fine for you to call her stupid. You don't even use her name. But, unlike me..." He grunted, knees popping slightly as he stood all the way up. "I gave her a compliment. And you denied it."
"The fuck are you talking about." He slid his sword back into its sheath.
"You said she wasn't 'little', like she's some huge beast." He casually lit a cigarette.
"I didn't mean that!"
"Ah, I rather think that's how she took it. I said she was beautiful, you laughed and acted like she wasn't."
Zoro bared his teeth at the other man in frustration. "I meant," he ground out, "that she's not like those worthless little dainty crap wenches you perv over."
Sanji raised one curly eyebrow in surprise. "You've got a weird way of complimenting her, moss-head."
"Eh." Zoro blinked.
"Yeah. Admit it. You got jealous and said shit you didn't mean."
"I-!"
Sanji blew smoke out in a huge gust. "You did. And you made her cry."
Zoro blinked several times more. "Ehhh?"
"Go. Apologize. Stupid." The blond chef enunciated each word as if he were speaking to a simpleton. He pointed at the ladies' room.
"But-"
"Angel!" Sanji called out. "The green-headed asshole wants to apologize to you!"
"Hey!"
"Now do it right." He snorted and walked off in disgust as the door creaked slowly open. Elly peeked out from a tiny crack hesitantly, reminding Zoro of when they had first found Chopper. She was just as skittish now, and that worried him. She'd never acted that way before. If it really was his fault, he felt terrible. And all that bullshit wasn't something he wanted to deal with. Feelings weren't Zoro's forte.
"Uh," he began, scratching his chest nervously, "I didn't mean it that way."
She walked out, still not looking him in the face. "Yeah."
"It came out wrong."
"That's okay." Still not facing him. He felt anger bubbling up in him once more.
"Damn it, cat, look at me!" He reached out and grabbed her shoulders, turning her towards him. She lifted her face and his colored abruptly. There were tear-streaks running down her cheeks and her eyes were red. The purple shade of her irises were paler and she wasn't focusing properly on him.
"What."
"I did this," he choked.
"Did what?" she grunted, frowning. Some spark came back to her eyes and she glared at him. "It's not your fault you think I'm a stupid, ugly bitch. You're probably right." Her ears laid flat against the sides of her head, tail lashing wildly as she bared her fangs. "Just leave me alone!"
Most people know to leave a cat alone if these warning signs are present. Zoro did not, and probably would not have anyway. Instead, he clumsily tried to apologize again.
She bit him on the arm.
"Crap!"
Sanji rushed out at the swordsman's yell only to find him holding his arm up ruefully. "The hell happened? You were supposed to apologize!"
He stared down at his bleeding arm. "She didn't buy it."
"No shit."
Elly pelted off through the kitchen door and leaned against a corner of the aquarium, panting hard. She hadn't meant to bite him, he had just pushed every single one of her buttons. All at once. And then he hadn't let her go when she'd asked. Stretched to the limits of her emotions, she'd simply reacted, like the stupid feline she was.
"Ughhh." Her ears drooped. If he didn't like her then, he probably hated her guts now. "What a great day."
A firm step beside her shocked her out of her melancholy. "You've got spirit," Zoro chuckled as he sat down beside her.
"Ah!" She would have fallen over in her surprise but he quickly caught her before she tipped forwards. "Zoro!"
"No more honorifics?" He sounded mildly upset. She noticed he'd cleaned his arm but hadn't bound it.
"Uh. What? You..." she trailed off. "I can't think."
Amazingly, he pulled her closer than ever before, into his lap with her back resting on one arm. Laying sideways in his embrace she froze, her mind even more jumbled and unable to form coherent thought. "I liked 'Zorokun,'" he admitted. A tiny squeak escaped her. "But I didn't like him saying the stuff he was to you."
"What?"
He shifted uncomfortably. "Like how - how you look," he said awkwardly.
"Beautiful, you mean?" She snickered. "I know I'm not."
"That's... that's not," Zoro fought to try and express what he wanted to say and refute her statement at the same time. "You're fine. He's not supposed to say shit like that!"
"But he does."
"Not supposed to," he said in a grouchy tone.
"Yeah, well, he always does, to all the girls."
"He's not supposed to do it to mine!" The minute this was out he clapped a hand to his mouth. That definitely hadn't been something he'd intended to admit.
"What!?"
"Shit!" Zoro's his blush was burning all the way down his neck in its intensity. He looked around desperately for a change of subject but found none. Especially because she was sitting up in his lap, staring an inch away.
"Zorokun," Elly breathed in exasperation, "if you felt that way, all you had to do was say it."
"Stupid cat." He thrust his lip out in a pout.
"And that's it, isn't it." She sighed and bent forward, resting her forehead on his upper chest. "That's as close as you can come to affection. That's why I'm 'stupid'. It's not me, it's your emotions you can't control."
"Erk." He pouted harder, scrambling on the floor, but there was no escape. He'd been backed into a corner.
"Maybe I shouldn't have said it out loud." She shrugged. "I won't bring it up again, anyway. But if it's true..." He watched carefully as she raised her head. "...do one thing for me? Please?"
"Spit it out."
"Kiss me." She said it calmly, and he wasn't sure at first that he'd heard properly. But she leaned forward more until their noses were touching and he saw the truth of what she had said in her eyes. He squeezed her close, still pouting a little... and she made the first move instead, kissing his upturned lip.
"Eh!"
"Too slow," she murmured with a sly grin.
"M'not slow." Zoro laid one hand on the back of her neck, pulling her to him while he covered her mouth passionately with his own. True to his word, he pressed forward immediately, overwhelming her with his lips and tongue. After what seemed an eternity to both, they parted with a moist sound and mutual gasps for air. But he wanted only a few breaths before he was at it again, this time on her neck while his hand played with her sensitive, velvety ear. This surprised a miaow out of her and her tail quivered, raising from where it had been laying on the ground. "Didn't you say no one's allowed to touch this? Why?" He whispered in her ear.
"No, wait!" Elly cried out, but not fast enough. Zoro's hand whipped around and caught the base of her tail. "Ngh, Zoro..." Her eyes slid half-closed and she grew limp in his grip.
"That's good." He grinned and stroked the fur in his palm. She gasped and he chuckled, warm puffs of air tickling her ear. "Did I find a weak spot?" She hissed softly and he kissed her again, effectively silencing her protest. When she could speak again she did it quickly, rushing it all out before he could do something more outrageous.
"You can't be seriously doing this, there are people all around outside and -"
"If that's what you're worried about, I'm not being serious enough." He gripped firmly and squeezed, rubbing upwards along the fur. He was peeling her defenses back by handling one of her most sensitive spots. Elly swallowed hard, trembling and swaying in his arms.
"That's not - my tail is --" She bared her fangs and gave her best effort to pull herself together. "Only a cat's mate is supposed to do that!"
"That's why no one can touch it?" He looked faintly surprised. "That's it?"
"What!"
"You act like it's a problem." Zoro pulled the length of her tail through his hands and let it drop. When that hand was free, he used it to grasp her closer to him, circling both arms around her waist. "You didn't stop me. You cut that pervert's face up when he did it to you."
"I know, damn it," she said through gritted teeth. She flexed her fingernails in his arm warningly.
The big man chuckled. "And he barely touched it. I just felt the whole thing up."
"Damn it," she repeated, slower this time. "Zoro. Don't say it like that."
"I'll say it anyway I want." He gasped with laughter when he saw her face scrunched up in a comical grimace. "Listen, little one..."
"Oh, now I'm little."
"Ch', shut up for a second." He slid his hands from her tail to her bottom, gripping tightly and pressing her into him. This had the effect he wanted as she froze, her eyes growing wide at his boldness. "You're already mine. We just haven't sealed the deal yet," he added with a vicious smirk. She choked, and he unexpectedly let her go.
He certainly got his point across, and every time she met him after this her heart felt like it would explode for how fast it raced in her chest. All he had to do was wink at her whenever no one was looking.

When You Come Back
"When You Come Back"
orig. 5/25/2013
One Piece - Elly x Zoro, adult
.
.
.
Elly sighed and snuggled down further in his arms. The sun was warm but not too hot, the air scented with the tang of the sea and their own personal mix of steel and lavender. The big man smelled of fresh soap as well; he'd shaved that morning and he smelled delicious. Not to mention he was smooth now. She could barely keep her hands off his face. It was good to be back from her silly little trip she'd had to take.
Back home.
"Hmm." He shifted her in his lap, big hands curling protectively around her waist. "What's for dinner later?"
"Lamb," she replied happily. It was one of her favorite meats and she was looking forward to the big meal she'd planned. Zoro murmured lazily, nodding. He really didn't mind - whatever she made was fine -- but he wanted to see her smile. His stupid cat loved eating almost as much as that rubber idiot did. He closed his eyes again, drifting somewhere between sleep. It was warm and her soft weight was perfect against his body. The waves rocked the boat, every now and then sending a spray of water up the side. It was soothing.
She sighed peacefully, blowing a warm little puff of air on his chest. Without realizing it he reached out and stroked her hair. It was a simple gesture, uncommon for him, and it moved her greatly. She didn't want to spoil the moment so she lay with bated breath, relaxing and listening to his soft almost-snores. His fingers couldn't twine themselves in her hair like in all those fantasy stories people were always writing - her hair was spiky and short. But Zoro could feel the texture and did, rumbling as he caught her side locks in one hand. Idly he let them pass through his palm, softer than the rest of her purple tresses. He let them fall and touched her cheek, stroking downwards towards her mouth. Elly glanced up, surprised.
"I thought you were napping," she murmured. The big man lightly traced her lower lip with one finger.
"Relaxing," he clarified. She kissed the rough pad teasing her lips and he grinned. "I'll have more of those, if you don't mind."
"Really?" She asked archly. "More kisses?"
"Yeah." He pulled her closer to his face. His eyes were half-lidded and he looked amused more than anything. Elly wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Are we feeling romantic today, big guy?" She nibbled on his neck and he shrugged. "Don't do that, it shakes me all around."
"Hmm."
"Is that a yes?" Her mouth trailed up and she caught his earrings in her teeth, playing with them. The sunlight shone off the gold strips as they tinkled musically.
"Mmm..." He tilted his neck back, blinking sleepy tears from his eyes. His mumbled assent became a louder hum of pleasure. Elly carefully tugged on the clip-ons and he rubbed her shoulders encouragingly. She let them drop after a short while, ignoring his muffled snort of protest. Instead she let her teeth graze carefully on his neck again. Zoro's tough skin was tanned and weather beaten. He tasted clean, a little salty from the sea spray and a faint sheen of sweat that had crept out of his pores. She inhaled deeply, smelling his freshly-shaved scent. God, she loved that. It really did make her want to devour his skin, kiss every inch. As long as she could be close to his smell, close to him, everything was perfect in her world. She nipped and kissed just under his ear, nuzzling at him and murmuring his name in ecstacy.
"Cheater," Zoro swore. He started to pant, his breathing getting hoarse after only a few tearing gasps. His neck was flushed as dark as his face, the burn of desire so hard it was spreading to his upper chest. Elly purred gleefully and continued kissing him across his cheek, whispering softly. She lightly pressed her mouth to his but moved back when he would have become aggressive, shaking her head. He frowned but laid back, letting her do what she pleased.
"Oh, Zoro," she breathed past his lips. He grunted sourly, abashed at the affectionate play at last. But she darted her tongue inside his mouth, flicking it in and out while she moaned. He gulped and held her tighter, his hands squeezing now and then. Her own hands were running up the back of his head, cupping it while she kissed him.
"More," he finally said in a hushed voice when they parted. His face was like a thundercloud but his tone was yearning. He ticklishly stroked her back until his hands rested on her rear and held her close, even closer than before.
"You're so cute," she whispered, giggling when he frowned even harder. She nibbled on his pouting lower lip, deciding where to kiss next. "I didn't get your right half." He turned that side of his face towards her and she hid a smile by kissing that cheek. She rubbed at his sideburns with her nose, closing her eyes in bliss. He rarely asked for anything and she enjoyed pleasing him. Zoro's body was tense underneath hers, coiled like a deadly spring, but he didn't move. He stayed quiet and let her do things her way. This was slow, dreamy pleasure, a kind he didn't indulge in much. She determined to make the most of it. Her hands caressed his face, slipping over closed eyelids and stroking his nose and lips. His breathing grew heavier as she experimented and soon she was rising and falling on his chest with every hoarse gasp he made. She was touched, really. Who knew that something so simple could turn the big man on like this?
"Here," he grunted, his hands pulling her head to his neck.
"Mnn." She kissed lightly below his ear and smiled. "What is it? Your earrings or your throat?"
"Talk to me," Zoro growled softly. His hands gripped her, held her even tighter. His face burned and he wasn't looking into her eyes but his voice was calm and serious.
"Oh." She kissed his earlobe then whispered into the tanned shell that she loved him. He shivered and said nothing, only moved his hand to her head and caressed the back of her neck. Elly nibbled as she spoke. "You missed me when I was gone, didn't you?"
He didn't say. He just pouted harder, his lower lip thrust almost all the way out.
"That's all right," she breathed. "I missed you." She nipped his neck playfully and began kissing him again, trailing from his throat up to his lips. Her hands slipped inside his haramaki and he closed his eyes tightly, the frown reappearing across his forehead. It grew more intense, the lines spreading as she explored, hands groping him gently, always further down, further...
He didn't speak but a small sound escaped him. His arms fell down by his sides in the lounge chair they laid on, hands balling into fists as they dropped. When Elly's hands found his firm erection he huffed and nudged his face against hers, pressing his lips on her own. No speech was necessary. He was hardly gentle; his teeth caught her tongue as he attacked her mouth in a violent kiss. She pressed forward, letting him have it his way, understanding why his hands weren't on her anymore. He knew he would hurt her if he let himself go.
"You missed me," she smiled. Her hands tugged, pulling on his arousal in the semi-rough way she knew he liked. Zoro snorted and nodded briefly.
"Nghh..."
"What? Already?" She gasped as his face contorted with pleasure. His dark eyes squeezed shut and he started to shake as he doubled over, hands shooting out to clutch her back. Green hair nestled between her breasts as he buried his head in her chest. Growling, trembling violently, he tried to choke his cries back but he couldn't.
"Kiss me!" He hissed from between clenched teeth, craning his neck up towards her. Their lips met just as she felt the first warm splash on her bare leg. Zoro panted hotly in her mouth, the kiss winding down as he did. They parted slowly and he didn't seem to be able to look in her eyes. "Damn it."
"Hmm?"
"Went off like some stupid kid." He blushed, this time in embarrassment. "Wanted you so much," he said in a lower tone, his hands pulling her so tightly to him that she would have bruises the next day. Elly ignored the mess he'd made and sighed, cuddling close.
"I love you, fool," she whispered.
"Don't fucking leave again."

"What?"
"Is Mr. Aizawa okay?"
"Hey, she won - but what the hell happened?!"
The students crowding the sidelines were chattering away. Midnight prodded Aizawa's inert form and sighed again. She wasn't about to ask the blond-haired fool to bring his friend to the nurse. At the moment, the idiot looked like he didn't know which foot to stand on.
"I'll take him," Snipe said quietly. She jumped; she hadn't even noticed him there. But she nodded gratefully as the big man lumped Eraser over his shoulder and strode off. Mic stared after them for a moment and then also left, rounding the opposite corner as he stomped angrily off.
Elly groaned dismally. "What a mess."
"Well, time for damage control." Midnight chuckled. "It's not so bad. Although, I must admit I'm surprised. I didn't know the scruffy guy had that in him!"
"Ugh." Elly's ears drooped even further. She could still feel his lips pressing so urgently to hers - and they had certainly not been the ones she had dreamed of the other night.
Cementoss motioned to them secretly and they sidled over. "I hate to tell you, but Jiro heard." He paused, since Elly didn't know their names yet. "The one with the ear jacks. Pale girl, red teardrop makeup."
"Oh, shit." She clapped a hand over her face. "She heard me say..?"
"Yes."
"Quickly, then." Midnight snapped her fingers and raised her voice. "All right, everyone! We're gonna have another general assembly for 1-A and 1-B. Now."
Elly controlled her emotions and walked as fast as she could back to the room they had spoken to the students in before. She was in front of the kids before all of them had piled in and saw every one of 1-A's shocked faces - Aizawa was their homeroom teacher, after all. It was difficult to wait until the entire group was settled, but when Snipe arrived with the news that their teacher was fine and would be with them shortly they calmed down a bit.
The cat woman cleared her throat. "Okay, then. Let's start off simple. My quirk is invisibility - " she smiled faintly when the invisible girl she'd noticed before cheered and got loudly shushed by her friends. "And although it's rare, mine is different than most invisible quirks. I control what I want to be invisible. Myself, my clothes, other items or people."
The door slammed open and she jumped, her tail shooting straight up behind her and her ears flicking wildly. The other staff made room for the English teacher as Present Mic made his way to one side, his face like a thundercloud. Elly bit her lip, her pale features seeming to turn whiter as her cheeks burned. Yet she pulled her chin up with an effort and continued on. "It's not enough to turn invisible if you want to catch villains, though. I have a degree in psychology, enough to suggest certain things while engaging people."
She held up a hand, flexing the paw pads on her glove. "These have claws, just like a real cat." Several sharp, thin metal pieces slid out. "They're coated in a hallucinogenic drug. Nothing poisonous, just enough to keep someone tractable. Also easily suggestible to anything I may have suggested earlier."
One of the students raised their hand and she nodded. "But you asked Mr. Aizawa if he was afraid of anything."
She glanced aside at Mic, but couldn't tell if he was watching with the reflective shades he wore. "Yes." Knowing her audience and their ages, she knew what they would be focused on, so she continued before the inevitable follow-up question was asked. "Some people are afraid of losing control of their emotions. Others..." She paused, then risked a very open look at the fuming Hizashi. "...might not want to hurt their friends with those feelings."
He started back a little, obviously taken aback. "Hallucinogen?"
"He was drugged, and he did something he isn't entirely responsible for."
"And something she isn't entirely responsible for," Midnight added, staring at the shaken Mic.
There was a weary sigh then, and the click of a door shutting. Aizawa was back, looking more tired than usual. Mineta hooted raucously and he snapped his head to the side, hair rising and eyes glaring red. The small young man whimpered and sank down in his chair.
"I think," Aizawa said in his usual deadpan voice, "I need to say a few things." He walked over to Elly and exhaled once more, rubbing at his eyes. "I acted in a very irrational manner. I apologize for the liberties I took."
"Liberties?" His friend choked on the plural of the word.
"Relax, Mic," Midnight hissed.
Elly accepted his apology rather formally, and he spoke to some length to the classes gathered - with quite a lot of threats when they started teasing him again. It seemed such a long time, but eventually the kids and teachers went their separate ways as the final bell rang. Elly thanked every religious icon she could under her breath that the assembly had been the last event of the day. She slunk sadly into the lounge to get her things and froze when she saw Aizawa waiting for her.
He held up a hand. "Wait - I am sorry. I promise you I will never do anything like that again."
"I know." She grabbed her bag from a locker nearby. "It's just..."
"Mic has been my friend since high school."
Her ears perked. "Wh - what?"
"He likes you," Aizawa said firmly. "I've never seen him so besotted with anyone." He grimaced. "I'm ... attracted to you."
"I know. You know, you intrigue me, if I have to be honest."
He laughed dryly. "You two will be better together. He comes in to get his things almost like clockwork, a few minutes from now. Be here for that."
"But - but he's so angry and I - what do I say?"
"You'll know." He shrugged and walked out.
"Well, crap." She sat heavily in one of those plastic chairs they had pulled up to the table in the middle of the room. Her striped tail swished madly about, slapping the floor in a restless beat.
Aizawa ran into his friend as he was striding down the hall. Hizashi pulled up and would have ducked into a nearby room but he stopped him. "Knock it off, Mic," he grunted. "I said I was sorry. You know I was drugged."
"Damn it, Sho!" He ripped his arm out of his friend's grip. "I know that. I didn't know you liked her, though."
"She's a cat," he said as if that explained everything.
"Yeah ... but you've seen cat anthros before. What the hell, man? I - I really like her, too." He glanced off to the side, face burning at the admission.
"We can all see how much you like her."
"Whaaa?!"
"You're not good at hiding your emotions, remember? No, shut up for once." He dug around in his clothing and found his wallet. "Here -" Mic's hand was suddenly full of money. "Take her out someplace. On me. Just don't mention me. Don't let this ruin ...that." He pointed back, over his shoulder at the lounge where she waited.
"Shota?"
"You're gonna have to ask her out." Aizawa turned on his heel and walked off as fast as he could.
"Shota, wait!" Mic's voice was filled with panic. "What if she says no?"
"Not going to happen," he muttered under his breath as he slipped out of view.
Hizashi's eyes were huge behind the orange shades he wore during classes. He fidgeted with his long leather collar, staring ahead at the door to the lounge. "Nothing to it," he swallowed hard, gulping past the anxiety he felt, "but to do it, I guess." He put his hand out and pushed the door open.
Elly was sitting on one of those thin plastic chairs in there, staring out the windows on the far side. She nearly fell when he came into the room, and Mic stumbled trying to support her so she wouldn't fall. He caught her arm by the elbow, stabilizing her for a brief moment, but then she swayed again when she realized who had touched her.
"Yeek! Sorry, oh god, sorry." She placed a hand over her mouth, breathing hard.
"No uh, I - I'm sorry." He pulled another chair out, spun it the wrong way and sat facing her. "I sort of got jealous today." He looked away, blushing. "Shota's my friend, and I - I really like you. It messed me up more than I thought."
She nodded. "I wish I hadn't scratched him."
He chuckled a little. "You won, though. Not a lot of people can take Eraserhead down like that."
"I just caught his flag. Not like I won a battle or anything."
"Yeah, but it was still impressive."
"Maybe," she hedged. "I still wish it hadn't happened. Because I ... like you, too." She reached out and then stopped, hand wavering in midair.
Hizashi raised his eyebrows. "S'okay..?"
Elly took a deep breath and lightly touched the side of his face. When she did, however, she forgot everything she wanted to say. He had dropped his head on his arms, and his glasses had slipped a notch, revealing those glorious spiralled pupils that she had gotten lost in the other night.
"Hey," he said softly.
"Oh!" She gasped and snatched her hand back.
"It's okay." A big grin slowly spread across his features, banishing the nerves he'd been displayed recently. "Really. I mean, it will be if you'll go out with me tonight."
"Go out?"
"They have dates in America, right?"
Her ears flicked straight up. "Yes!" She giggled faintly, then nodded. "To both. Wait -" She grabbed her things and rummaged around in her bag. "Here's my number," she said shyly, waiting while he all but snatched his phone out of his pocket. "I'm at the local hotel right around the corner. Room 15b."
"6 o'clock?"
"That's great."
Mic's grin grew even broader. "Better than that! Yeah! It's awesome!" He leaped to his feet and pointed at the clock with a flourish. "Dinner and a movie?"
"It's a date," she agreed.
