Honey and Takashi visited the recovering Elly every day until she was rested enough to return to class. And although the bruises hadn't faded entirely and she was still angry at what had happened, she did feel better. She never told anyone what had happened inside the bathroom, and it was just as well. No one pressed her for details. The girls in her class seemed chastened and had even stopped picking on her as much in public. Of course, they were all busy with something that had been the talk of the campus for a while now anyway.

She began seeing the flyers as soon as she walked up the tree-lined drive to class. It was the topic of every discussion. It seemed everywhere she turned girls were going crazy with talk of dresses and jewelry and hairstyles. She groaned.

"Not again!" She was so disinterested that she didn't even look closely once at the posters. She heard from sparkling, feminine girl-chatter that it was an event "no one could miss" (although they always said that) and that "it was for charity" (almost all of these were). After her last experience, she really didn't want to try another dance. Elly was afraid Takashi would ask her to go and she really didn't want to say no. She was just afraid it would be another disaster. As she rounded a corner there he was, waiting for her outside the classroom with his arm out. She smiled shyly, letting him escort her to a seat where she was sandwiched between him and his cousin. He said nothing during the lesson, only nodded when Honey started babbling about lunch afterwards.

"...and I thought we could go to the part with the huge salad bar and they'd let me take some home to Ari and then I could feed him!"

"That sounds great," she grinned. "Remember not to give him too much, though. You're not the one that has to clean up when his tummy gets sick later!" Honey giggled under his breath and nodded. Snorting softly at this exchange, Takashi patted her stack of books and bent to allow her to relinquish them to the already large pile in his arms. He straightened easily and they began making their way towards the cafeteria. They passed countless flyers for the big dance, and Honey picked one up curiously.

"Are you going, Takashi?" He craned his neck to peer up at her. "Elly?"

She sighed. "After what happened last time?"

Mori regarded her curiously for a moment, then responded with a question right back at her. "Are you afraid?"

"That something will go wrong. Yes." Her shoulders slumped. Honey wisely kept his mouth shut as the couple stopped, staring at each other. "I'm sorry, Takashi - I want to go with you. I really do."

"Okay."

She blinked. "What?"

It was his turn to sigh. "You want to go." He shifted the books to one arm and curled the other comfortingly around her shoulders as they began walking again. "We'll go."

"We're all gonna be there," Honey chimed in, his eyes large and shining. "Everybody this time! It'll be extra fun!" He squeezed Elly's arm and she giggled despite herself. Takashi tightened his arm about her in a light hug and she smiled at him, too.

"Damn it," she murmured softly. "All right. I'm still nervous, though."

This time Elly's nervousness was not out of excitement, but anxiety. She had a few nightmares about the new dance being just as much of a disaster - or more -- as last time. Although she tried to hide it, her friends noticed. When it was finally time, Haruhi gently led her to her room and pointed at the bed. There was an ornately decorated large box laying there.

"We bought you a dress this time, so don't worry about that other one."

Elly's eyes widened. "I completely forgot."

"I know." The brunette smiled. "You've been way too stressed about it. That's okay," she added , waving off anything the other girl might have said as an excuse. "Just put it on and come outside."

"Yes." Elly smiled. "I can do that." She took a deep breath and lifted the box lid, eyes widening even further. It was a mermaid's dress, with a light colored bikini top and form fitting bottom all one length to the floor. She would have her midriff exposed, below shining with emerald, aqua and blue sequins just like a tail. She did feel a little ridiculous putting it on, as well as the seashell hair piece that looked like a crown, but knew the group would insist. They had bought it for her, after all. And they definitely had something in mind. She shook herself lightly, stepping out past her door and out beyond, heading for the waiting limo. Haruhi informed her that Mori was waiting for her at the event already, but again reassured her that everything was okay.

"I know you're up to something," Elly sighed.

"Me?" Haruhi snorted indelicately. "No, if it's scheming, it's almost always those guys." She grinned then. "We're here."

"Oh boy."

The outside of the event hall was milling with gorgeously dressed people filtering in little by little. She rolled her shoulders back and strode as confidently as she could manage inside, though trembling with cold hands and nowhere to warm them in the tight fitting ensemble she wore. Haruhi held back a moment, then smiled and followed her in. When she found her friend, she was standing still in shock inside the ballroom doors. Elly gasped as she took in the magnificent surroundings about her. This was opulent even by upper class standards! Everything was decked out to appear as if the whole room was underwater, from soft blue lighting to pots that shimmered the light on the walls and ceiling to look just like waves. Green silk strands simulated kelp and there was more - she couldn't even take it all in at once.

Yet remarkable as it was, the scenery was forgotten when she saw who sat on one gilded throne of two up on a dais at the far end. The odd thing was that he's not even self-conscious about it, she thought in a daze as the twins led her directly to him. The man of her dreams was nude to the waist with an intricate network of swirling sea-green markings drawn over his upper torso and just above his navel. The outfit he wore on his lower half was designed to look like a merman's tail: sea green with light blue highlights, all done in sequins so it sparkled and shone under the soft light. As she got closer she saw it was a front piece, like a robe; he could stand and walk with no problem. Under the tail he wore tight-fitting, dark blue pants with a green sash about his waist.

His left hand was gripping a long gold trident with shining gems set before each point.

"What is all this?" She gasped.

"King Neptune," Kaoru grinned.

"I - I can see that, but ..."

"He's been lonely," Hikaru added impishly.

"What?" She shook her head to clear it. "Takashi, what's going on?"

He held out his free hand to her. "Come," he said simply. He passed his trident over to one of the waiting twins. Bemused, she tottered forward and was caught in a swift embrace. He half escorted, half carried her to the dance floor.

"Wait," she gasped. "You did all this?"

He pulled her even closer, his hand relaxing on her waist. "Yes."

"All of it? The undersea theme, the ... you ..." She stared up at him, her lower lip caught between her teeth. Before the conversation got any farther, however, a spotlight was shone brilliantly on them, stopping everyone in their tracks as they turned to stare. The young man blushed. He knew what type of antics his friends got into when they started singling couples out. Takashi leaned forward and placed a warm hand on the back of her neck. His fingers lightly brushed her hair, noting again with satisfaction at how very dark it was, shining with a few silvery lines of grey. He didn't understand why the other girls teased her about that; he found it attractive.

Her hands lightly rested on his chest. Strange how they seemed to burn there, since her palms were warm but not hot. The people around them forgotten, he pulled gently to bring her face closer to his. It was more a request than an act of force and she went willingly as soon as she felt his urging. They slowly came together, noses brushing softly before their mouths met.

Elly was actually shocked when they kissed. She'd thought they would be interupted in some fashion, perhaps by one of the jealous clusters of girls gnawing their livers on the sidelines. Who knew? With her luck, it could have been anything. Instead there was nothing but the tall man's warmth against hers. It was fleeting but sweet. His tongue flicked out and lingered on her lower lip for a moment as they separated. Their eyes met, his half-lidded with what looked like amusement.

"Okay," she sighed. "Wow."

He chuckled lowly. Their friends and most of the crowd had started a thunderous round of applause that they turned to acknowledge. She couldn't believe the night they gave her. It was amazing, and so was the young man she'd fallen in love with.

After the kiss she could admit to so much more than that.

The afternoon was warm and the sea was calm for once. The ladies on ship had all decided to get some tanning time in and Sanji was ecstatic. Nami yawned and stretched voluptuously, thrusting her semi-covered breasts up at the sun.

"Time to roll over," she murmured to the others sleepily. Robin had already flipped and was reading while a pair of her extra hands spread sunblock on the fair skin of her back. Elly also pulled herself up, blinking in the bright sunlight. She rolled over and crossed her hands, resting her chin on them and sighing.

"Joy!" The blond young man nearly fainted. He grabbed a tube of lotion and was about ready to dart forward when he froze in his tracks.

"What?" Zoro stared hard at him. "Something wrong, asshole?"

"You - I mean she, I mean what the hell are you doing?!" He pointed at Elly's back. The swordsman's hands were resting gently upon it, greasy with the cream he'd been working into her skin.

"S'matter?" Elly's head lifted up. Her lavender eyes darkened gloriously when she saw Zoro was behind her and not Sanji. "Mmm, I thought your hands felt different today."

"There any reason I should back off?" The green haired man stared belligerently at the other. Sanji swore. He - she -- damn it! And Nami-swan needed help too. He could think of nothing but to wander over to the other girl, not making any more fuss than he had started. But he glared at the man every chance he got. Zoro just ignored him.

Later on that night at the time of their usual tryst Sanji was still thinking about that moment. He got up to answer the discreet knock at his door, frowning and running a shaky hand through his light yellow hair. Have to calm down, he told himself. Elly walked in rather demurely, not looking directly at her lover and holding her robe closed with a freshly-tanned hand. Sanji dropped onto the bed with a loud thump, arms and legs flailing on either side of him as he just let himself go limp.

"You liked it, didn't you?" His eye was wide and staring. All he could think of was the other man's hands on her back, gentler than he'd ever seen the big ass touch anything except his stupid swords. "You should have told him to knock it the fuck off!"

"Really?" Elly raised an eyebrow and sat down beside him. "Do you tell Nami to knock it off? Or, wait - what about all the girls you 'collect' every time we reach a new port?"

"B- but this is you, not me!" Sanji rolled over so that his back was facing her. His voice was petulant but the fact that they were discussing this at all told her he was trying to come to grips with the situation.

"It is me." Elly took a deep breath to steady herself, then placed a pale hand on his shoulder. Her hair caught the lamplight and a single barrette caught in one of her side locks sparkled momentarily. "I'm not even going to suggest that you can't take what you force me to accept almost every day."

"I know!" He smacked the bedspread with an open palm, snarling. She jumped backwards and stood shakily next to the night stand. This wasn't like how he acted with her at all. "I know, I can't stand it. It's not fair to you. I want to be fair." The thick pink fabric crumpled under his palm as he scrunched it, wadding a fistful of bed sheet into a ball under his hand and twisting it.

"Are you jealous, Sanji?"

"Ha." The slender man stood, uncurling his hands from the tight little fists he had made and rolling his shoulders back. He threw his head back, though his hair immediately swung into place and the hidden eye that even she rarely saw remained covered. Sanji's face was red and he was biting his lower lip. He wasn't angry; she saw that right away. He was completely and utterly furious. When he stalked closer to her she saw something she should have right away; the fussy cook hadn't tucked in his shirt. It flopped partway out of his slacks and the buttons weren't aligned properly either. He laughed again, a strangled sound.

"Angel," he asked carefully, enunciating every word, "Do you find him attractive?" She stepped further back and he slapped a hand to his face.

"You're too angry. This might not be a good time to discuss this, Sanji."

"Answer me, please."

"Zoro?"

"Yes. Zoro." He spat the name out.

"I find him as attractive as you find Nami," she told him flatly and crossed her arms. She wasn't going to lie. It wasn't a horrible thing to be attracted to others when you were with someone else. Or have a crush. She dealt with his infatuation with Nami all the time and Elly really did think the swordsman was quite sexy. This is going to be bad, she thought as she winced. And yet Sanji's reaction was not what she expected. He surprised her again and this time she gasped in alarm.

"Crap," he whispered, all the blood draining from his flushed and angry face. Sanji stared at her with such a shocked expression that under other circumstances it would have been hilarious. He then fainted, his suddenly limp body falling on the throw rug in front of them with a painfully loud sound. Elly yelped and darted forward.

"You idiot!" She knelt, the one side lock that wasn't pinned down falling past her cheek as she turned him over. Living with the Strawhats, she knew how to check someone who was felled and she quite professionally peeled his eyelid back. It was showing only the white in a gruesome fashion that made her shudder. He was out cold. Elly sighed disconsolately, kneeling beside his prone form and dragging his body over her lap so she could hold him in her arms. Her robe had opened partway and revealed the fact that she was wearing a pale blue night shift that came to mid-thigh.

"You really are an idiot," she murmured. "What was I supposed to do?" She stroked his hair and looked up at the ceiling. "Lie? Tell you no, I didn't think he was hot? I won't lie to you. You don't lie to me. And all he did was put lotion on my back. Like you were going to do for Nami - not just me." She snorted and then felt him twitch. He must be waking up.

"Ow," he groaned softly. "Wha' happened?"

"You fainted, moron."

"Unhh... right. I'm sorry. I know I'm a fucking hypocrite." She blinked. He must be out of it to swear like that in front of her. "I, uh. Kept thinking about him - why he even did it in the first place -- "

"Probably to piss you off."

"What?!" He bolted upright. "No one knows about us. Didn't we think that was the best way because we're all on the same..." He rambled off, staring into her face. "Oh."

"Yeah. He didn't need to know. In a choice between myself or Nami, who the hell was he going to pick? You know he can't stand her that much." Something about the way she said this made him shiver with fear. Was that regret?

"I've caught him staring at you," he blurted out at last. He clapped a hand to his face again. What the hell was he saying?! "I mean, I think he'd have picked you anyway."

"Don't start, Sanji," she hissed softly.

"Start what?" Now he saw what she meant, what she had been telling him about getting excited and then coming to her for release. He'd done it to her before, he admitted to himself. He'd tried not to since but old habits died hard and well, he could reciprocate now. "Why not? You're beautiful. I'm sure he'd want you. Maybe he was thinking that at least he could touch you, see what your skin felt like under his hands. Were they rough?"

"Um. Yes." She coughed slightly. "Sanji..."

"Hmmm." He crawled around until he was behind her, both of them sitting on the plush rug he'd spread in front of his bed on the wooden floor. He reached under her robe and started caressing her back.

"Sanji!"

"Well? Did it turn you on? If I'm going to be the one you come home to, I'd better know since I'm the one that gets to do something about it."

"You just fainted, for god's sake. And you were so angry before!"

"That was then," he sniffed. He kissed her neck and she shuddered. "I can change my moods as fast as you, love. And besides," he started to nibble on an earlobe, "You're blushing."

"I am not!"

"Your neck is." He lapped at the sensitive skin just under her ear and she moaned softly. "I bet you wanted him to massage lower, didn't you? I can do that for you. Here..." He stood, taking her hand in his and lifted her with a gentle tug.

"Do what?"

"The bed, sweetheart," Sanji breathed. He pulled her hand and caught her as she fell against his lean body. His lips pressed into her hair and he smiled, pulling gently at her robe. "Take this all off so I can have my hands on you."

"Sanji!" He chuckled and slipped the loose ties free. When the silky robe fell he caught it deftly over one arm, then gestured at the bed.

"Get comfortable," he said quietly. "I'm going to go clean up." He scrubbed at the side of his face with one hand and then disappeared into the adjoining bathroom. Elly shook her head in amazement. She wasn't entirely sure what had just happened but the mood has eased and she heard him taking off clothing and possibly putting more on, getting himself back into his usual appearance. She removed her bra and panties then sat up on the pillows, watching the door to see what he would do when he came out. The bathroom opened slowly and Sanji peeked from around the door. His eye widened when he saw her laying there completely nude.

"I'm comfortable," she smiled.

"Well then. I'm glad, because so am I." Sanji stepped into full view and she choked. The fool. The sexy, handsome, incredibly attentive fool. He was dressed like Zoro.

"Where did you..."

"Old clothes." The blond man shrugged and yanked on the green cloth wrapped around his middle. "I think they might have holes in them someplace. From fighting. They're not dirty, though. They kind of... smell like him, though." He clumped over to the bed, making his footfalls heavier on purpose. Sanji grinned impudently down at her. "Want to play?"

"Ah." She had backed herself up against the pillows, eyes wide, hand pressed to her mouth in such maidenly confusion that he shivered. Damn, that was hot.

"C'mere," he growled roughly, reaching out for her and grasping her rounded arm in a gentle but tight grip.

"San-"

"Shut up," he husked, trying to sound as irritable as possible. She hissed and dropped the hand that was at her lips, staring at him blankly. Sanji pulled her with a strength he rarely used when they were together, yanking her underneath his body and instantly leaning down to crush his mouth onto hers. He relished the feel of her squirming under his lean frame. Oh, it was so good! She wasn't uncomfortable as much as she was stunned, frozen in place by his audacious sexual ploy. Elly was the one who usually played the dominating role in the bedroom and he was overjoyed to discover that he could, too. It was exciting and different. He rubbed his rising erection on her belly and sighed gustily.

"Y - you sure you want to do this?"

"It's me under all this crap," Sanji said simply. He grinned when she tugged on the old haramaki, caressing the fabric with hesitant fingers. The shirt was too big for him, as were the pants, but he'd managed to cinch them together under the belly warmer. Her halting touches to wriggle under it were delicious in their futility; he groaned and shook himself after a few moments. "No."

"What?" Now she was more than confused.

"Told you," he grunted, mimicking the asshole's voice as well as he could and watching her blush harder. "Time for your massage." She looked as if she were about to object but only reached up and caressed the side of his face with a lingering touch. "Roll over," he added more softly, seeing her consternation. "I promise you can stop me at any time. Remember our safe word?"

"Uh, okay." She nodded and turned herself around, resting her face between two pillows. Sanji rubbed his palms together, smiling broadly. She was all his despite the game they were playing. He realized that now; was gaining confidence every moment. Her placed his hands a bit roughly on her back and rubbed, trying to match the sense of powerful kneading rather than gently caressing lotion on his woman's skin. She was tense, he knew that from her actions but he could feel it even more so in her muscles. Slowly, ever so slowly his working hands released that tension and she began to relax under his touch.

"That's good," he whispered. "Very good." He paused, reflecting. "Oi, do you want ...more?" His hands slipped down to her thighs and Elly gasped loudly.

"Ah..."

"You wanted him to touch here," Sanji husked, bending over and whispering in her ear. "Now let me. It's okay to imagine it's Zoro..." He stroked and she pressed her flaming face deeper between the pillows. "Is it good, sweetheart? You want me to make love to you wearing this?"

"Ah!"

"I'm taking that as a yes," he told her seriously. "Unless you stop me I'm going to slip myself out of these baggy pants and have you just like this - boots and all."

"Oh my god."

"Right now." He bent over her, growling deep in his throat. This was fun! He stopped and watched her shivering uncontrollably for a long moment before pulling her rear up against his front. "Here, take me." He fumbled with the button on the pants for a moment but then it thankfully popped open. Sanji shoved the damned haramaki out of the way as he pulled his more-than-ready penis out. Elly was panting, hands twisting the sheets like his had earlier as she tried not to make too much noise. He had imagined what way would be right for this kind of sex and was prepared. Rearing back, he thrust forward as hard as he could, stabbing her folds apart and burying himself deeply in her warm, tight body. His shout of pleasure was fierce and he wasn't even trying to sound that way anymore.

And she cried his name.

"Sanji! Sanji..."

"Yes, my love," he gasped as he was moving so quickly and hard within her. "More?"

"Want..." She burst into tears, sobbing so piteously that he recoiled for a second. "I want you to hold me!" She had to feel him, know that it was him, smell his scent close by her. The dusky smell of cigarette smoke was something she craved now more than anything else.

"Angel." He reached around and curled his arms around her, frozen in the middle of their sex. "Are you all right?"

"Don't stop, just hold me!" A slow smile spread across the young man's face. He flicked his golden hair back and began to thrust again, hard and fast and deep, now curled around her from behind. Spooned as closely as they could fit, he made love to her while she sang his name out again and again.

"Yes." Sanji was hoarse by now both from emotion and trying to duplicate that moron's voice. As much as this had been a sexual lark he had learned a lot about their relationship. He was glad he'd snatched the clothing out of the rubbish bin for a gag or something a few months back. "I won't let go." He leaned his sweaty cheek on her neck, closing his eyes. Soon. It wouldn't take long at the rate he was pushing himself. His lower belly already felt like it was roiling, churning with the need to expel his seed. He stopped, strained... trying with all his might to hold back just a few more minutes.

"Don't wait." Elly whispered faintly. "It's okay, Sanji - don't wait for me, I'm ..." She gasped and suddenly he felt her stiffening in his hold. She muffled her cries into the pillows before her, secure in his arms and aware of his presence behind her while she came. Sanji kissed the side of her neck quietly. She wouldn't have known the young man was in the middle of an orgasm but for the fact that she felt him pulsing inside her. He finished just as silently, kissing her again and withdrawing as gently as he could. He cupped a hand under himself, trying to keep the mess minimal this time. His throat was dry from all the air he'd been sucking in and he was exhausted from the effort and emotion spent.

What the hell, he thought, staring down at his sticky hand. He wiped it on the haramaki then began eagerly shedding the unwanted and hot clothing. He kept an eye on his lover the whole time but she lay on the bed, breathing deeply. She hadn't moved since he'd parted from her. Elly's face was hidden in the fluffy pillows and her back was covered in a light sheen of sweat. Without him to hold her upright her arms soon began to tremble from fatigue and she was forced to sit up, wiping her sweaty face with the back of a hand. Sanji was there, kneeling on the floor and looking concerned. And it was just Sanji, pale and naked, his hairless chest heaving. The clothing was all gone, she saw with some relief.

"Don't be angry."

"I'm not." He crawled up onto the bed and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her on the mouth. "Not anymore."

Zoro sighed angrily and slammed his fist down on the pull out bed in his circular quarters.

He couldn't sleep.

He couldn't. Fucking. Sleep!

And it was all her fault. Damn it! He rolled up to a sitting position, the sheets tangling his legs, his hands raking through his ruffled green hair. He rubbed at his eyes sleepily and growled low in his throat. He was angry. Sleeping was one of the things he liked to do, and he hadn't been able to get a good night's rest since that day the idiot chef had decided they should all go swimming.

All of them. And all because that stupid cat hadn't had a bathing suit. Nami loaned her one of her own, and with devastating results. He'd pretended not to notice, but when she'd hesitantly come around the corner wearing the super revealing tiny strips of cloth he'd almost choked on the blood that wanted to shoot out his nostrils. His mouth had dried up, and he'd had to roll over and feign sleep to avoid being embarrassed by the sudden lump in his trunks. And now every time he closed his eyes he saw her pale skin, blushed with color from embarrassment and the bright sun. She had somewhat larger curves than the other girls and knew it, so she was nervous and it was the first time he'd seen her so. She was fucking gorgeous in her uncertainty. He kicked the sheets aside and rested his head in his hands with his elbows on his knees in a defeated manner.

Zoro had been fighting with himself for three nights' running to not masturbate furiously every time he laid down. He wouldn't give into such a base desire; in the back of his mind he knew why he wanted it and he rejected that. He couldn't want her. He'd lived with that red-haired whore for years and she didn't bother him, even when she'd flashed them a few times. Why would he suddenly develop a burning desire for the newest person to come live with them? Zoro slapped his palm on his forehead and looked out the portholes across the room. It was still dark. Dark ...that's right. He was fine when it concerned the dark-haired Robin, as well. He'd never felt distracted like this when either one of them walked around damn near nude.

This half woman, though - this stupid cat...

Her voice. He heard it in his head. He thrust a hand roughly under his haramaki, shoving it into his pants and what lay beneath. As soon as he touched his stiffening penis he clamped his mouth shut over the groan that wanted to push out of his throat. A little stunned, he laid back against the wall, panting. Fuck it. Maybe he should strip. As long as he was gonna do this, he might as well do it right. Maybe it would stop the crazy thoughts from tormenting him if he went all out. Ignoring the burning blush that had started to stain his cheeks he stood and decisively yanked his pants off. His haramaki slid loosely down over his hips and he pushed that down as well.

Fine, now what? He sat down at the edge of the bed, frowning. Why did he want to do something different than all the other times he'd done this? It wasn't rocket science, he just needed to jerk off.

No. You want to pretend it's her. The big man choked, slapping a hand over his mouth. His eyes were wide. Shit, he thought, his heart starting to hammer in his chest. Oh shit! But with the realization came action as he gave way to his passionate problem. He grabbed the pillow on the bed and turned it to face him, longways, holding it to his chest and panting. It was maddeningly soft against his burning erection but it smelled like his own sweat. That wouldn't do. So he shoved the offending pillow off the bed and curled over himself, his hand gripping his slightly sticky flesh loosely and starting to tug. His eyes slipped closed as the pleasure built and he began to torture himself with images of her laying beneath him, writhing on his bed. How would it feel to plunge himself inside her willing sheath? Would she claw at his back, fighting him, or moan his name thickly and beg him for more? Zoro's flushed skin was now slick with his own personal lubricant. The tip of his member bubbled and trickled; he hissed with amazement. So much! But there would soon be more. He rather grimly kept at it, his left hand moving slowly, the right cupping his balls and hefting slightly. Would she touch him here? Would she kiss him...there?

He couldn't stop himself, the images were too much. He growled her name as his pleasure peaked, panting it softly, then groaning, grinding the syllables between his teeth as if it hurt him. He couldn't stop. All he could hear was a roaring in his head; the pounding of his blood as he came. His essence spilled out of him in several long, ropy threads that left him dazed. He blinked, put the back of his hand to his forehead.

Huh. He'd sweat so much his face was glistening. The swordsman wiped his glistening cheeks. That was weird. It wasn't as if he'd been doing anything too strenuous. Ignoring the sting in his eyes he rolled over and stumbled to the bathroom to clean up.

"I'm sorry for being late, girls," Elly sighed as she banged the door open in front of her. "I got ...distracted again."

"I can guess how," Robin smiled.

"It's not your fault," Nami sniffed. "No matter what Chopper says I'm still convinced love is some terrible disease. It makes you lose sight of what's really important in life."

"Money? Jewels?" The older woman sat down on the padded bench and looked absently into the aquarium that ran the length of the room.

"There are worse things." The orange-haired girl shrugged. "Look at you. You could have had all that attention, free dinners - a lot of fun. But you turned them down because of what?"

"I turned them down because I didn't want those idiots. I wanted him. Wouldn't you turn down a gold nugget for a diamond?"

"I'd get both somehow." She laughed.

"We're not exactly talking about money," Elly murmured dryly. "You can't have it all in this case."

Zoro paused in the middle of walking past the common room on his way to the lookout. He'd since bathed after a good, hard workout and it was time for a nap in the quiet of his own quarters.

"He's so handsome," he heard a familiar voice saying.

His eyebrow raised and he craned his neck towards the door, listening curiously.

"To you, perhaps," Robin murmured.

"I don't want anyone agreeing with me," Elly admitted abashedly. "It would only make me jealous, but I have to vent! I can't do anything about it, the least I can do is talk to you girls now and then."

Zoro frowned. He suddenly wanted to pick a really nasty fight with Sanji. Maybe if he punched the silly chef in the head he would feel better. He tugged angrily at his haramaki and was about to stalk off when he heard something that made him freeze in midstep.

"I certainly don't get what you see in that green-haired idiot."

Well, now. His face began to burn as his eyes widened.

"I can't help it," Elly sighed. "It doesn't help that he's always out there without his shirt on. You know what flashing the guys does to them." She rolled her eyes at Nami, who giggled wickedly.

"But you haven't seen his..."

"Nami!"

"Awwww." She paused, settled herself more firmly into the plushy chair she was snuggling in. "Use your charms, girl! Can't you - even a little...?" She blinked as every comment was met by a sad headshake.

"Hello? You know who we're talking about. The man is not interested in girls. Just swords. And he's especially not interested in me! You heard what he calls me. Any attempts on my part would be meaningless, not to mention embarrassing."

"How can you be sure?" Robin murmured without looking up from the book she was reading. She carefully turned a page with an extra hand.

Zoro didn't stick around to hear more. He felt he'd tested fate enough already, so he strode quickly away to ponder what he'd heard in his circular room above. As he climbed up the ropes leading to the ladder above he was frowning. He pondered this before bed and when he woke in the morning he had a plan. And as luck would have it, most of the crew decided to swim in the pool and have a sort of party. Elly didn't join them, however. She stayed a while but left before things got rowdy. She looked pensive as she strolled through the hall to the girls' room.

She was thinking about spending the after-dinner hours with a good book and not really paying attention, so she jumped when Zoro stepped out of the shadows near the room. He was stripped to the waist and still damp from the pool.

"What!"

"Just me."

"Geez - you scared the hell out of me."

He grunted. "Didn't mean to. Why aren't you swimming?"

"Didn't feel like it. Why aren't you swimming?" She matched his intonation perfectly and the corners of his lips twitched.

"Thought you'd want to see me close up." He raised an eyebrow. "Without a shirt on."

"Wh - what?"

"I heard you talking yesterday."

"Oh no." Her face flushed a brilliant red color and he chuckled under his breath. "I didn't - I mean... shit." She stopped talking when he placed a hand on the wall on either side of her.

"Much better." He stared down at her - he was a couple inches taller -- through half-lidded eyes. Elly tried to catch her breath but when she gasped he placed a finger on her lips. Her heart raced even faster and she felt like she would soon faint, because if she was reading his expression right, he was going to do something she couldn't even begin to believe. His finger brushed her mouth, gently parting her lips before bending to kiss her.

The kiss was softer than she'd imagined and oddly short. He pulled back after only a moment to stare into her eyes again. Apparently finding what he'd sought he nodded silently and slipped his hands from the wall to curl about her waist. For a moment all they did was grip her warmly, then they slid down along the curve of her body. She opened her mouth to say something - she didn't know what -- but he kissed her again right before his palms lightly grasped her rear.

That did it. Elly didn't care how this had happened, she was going to go with whatever and however far he wanted to take things. She wrapped her arms about his neck so she wouldn't fall and also so she could pull him closer. She'd always thought 'melting' was a ridiculous word romance books used to describe events like this but she had been mistaken. It seemed to be exactly what she did - every muscle went limp, relaxing as she felt her will completely evaporate. He grunted with approval and nipped her neck.

"Someone might come by," she said suddenly.

"They're all in the pool." Zoro regarded her lazily and then stretched, raising his arms above them both. When he brought them back down again he wrapped them around her and lifted easily. She yelped and he laughed.

"Thought you were worried someone might come by."

"You surprised me." Her hands caressed his shoulders as the muscles surged smoothly. "Hmmm. Wait - where are you going?"

"Someplace quiet." He strode quickly along and she rested her head in the crook of his neck. Despite some tension in her belly she was remarkably calm. He was holding her - something she'd only dreamed of -- and the reality wasn't like her dreams had been. It was better; little things she couldn't imagine flooded her awareness like the smell of his skin, the warmth of his body and sounds. The musical accompaniment of his earrings tinkling so close to her would have lulled her into a doze had she not known what would happen when he reached his destination. He slipped out the door leading to the main deck and walked over to the rigging, leaping lightly up as she clung to his back.

Climbing was never a chore for him, of course, and he was up the ropes and standing on the cross piece of the front mast in moments. He set her down and then opened the door to the circular room he stayed in.

It was clear that he had planned for this by the heap of cushions and quilts strewn on the usually bare wooden floor. His weights were carefully spaced around the room, closer to the hard bench that ran along the entire length so as to leave the center clear and he'd let the windows remain completely open all day. The scent of metal still lingered inside but it was smoother, less sharp and held back further by the faint smell of musk - cologne, she imagined. Elly was shocked that he had taken the time to do all of this and she looked around slowly, somewhat bemused by the entire situation. She sat down on the surprisingly comfortable pile of plush things and patted a few times here and there.

"This is wonderful, Zoro," she murmured.

He regarded her solemnly and then quite deliberately stretched again. Her hands twitched, wanting to reach out and run along the ragged scar tissue on his torso, trace all the muscle and feel the flesh beneath her fingertips, still cool from the waters of the pool. But she was frozen for the moment again, unable to move as she stared at his body. Zoro coughed and sat down very close to her on the mass of pillows.

"Touch me." It sounded like a command but she heard the gruffness for what it was when he spoke - nervousness, the same as her own. One large arm curled around her shoulders, drawing her to his side. She sighed, placing a hand on his chest above his heart and finding some comfort in the fact that it was beating as fast as hers. Elly gently traced the scar down to one side of his lower belly until he shuddered. Swallowing hard, he turned slightly to face her on the cushions. Slowly, as if he was putting his hand into a fire, he reached out and gently touched her chest. She closed her eyes and sank backwards as he laid on top of her, their mouths meeting again and again and their hands lightly exploring.

They both froze when she reached the junction between his thighs. His soft cry had startled them both. She licked her lips and traced the bulge in the damp black shorts, feeling the heat emanating from him and wondering.

"You know what I want, don't you?" Though his voice was very low he stared directly into her eyes.

"Yes," she said simply.

"Do you want..?"

"Yes."

"All right." He helped her into a sitting position when she held out her hands, watching as she slipped the shirt over her head. The bra underneath had been popped free already from his previous explorations and she shrugged easily out of that as well. Zoro closed his eyes and swallowed hard. The simple act of pulling down his trunks had suddenly become more difficult as he tried not to disturb her. He also kept getting distracted - she was removing her own shorts and he found it hard to look away. After fumbling for some time he snorted with impatience and stood up, yanking them down without a thought that they were swimwear - he wore no underwear beneath.

"Oh." Elly blinked as she looked up and stared directly at his exposed manhood. He coughed and sat beside her again on the cushions, running a hand through his hair and looking a little abashed.

"Need help?"

"I'll take it," she agreed. Zoro raised an eyebrow but didn't respond to the innuendo. He just rolled over on top of her gladly, hands sliding down her curves to the elastic band between them and total nudity. She shivered as he dragged them down. "I dreamed of this," she admitted, stretching luxuriously as he flung the swatch of purple silk away.

"Ever going to let me know?"

"Hell, no. I thought you didn't like me this way." She chuckled ruefully. He grinned at her and carefully sank down until their bodies touched. "Besides," she added a trifle breathlessly as he began lapping slowly at her neck, "isn't it a little too - you know -- bold? For a woman to... oh my god." She gasped and grabbed at his shoulder blades, eliciting a low chuckle from the big man.

"You still talk too much." He shifted around while she dreamily caressed his lower back. "Here."

"Where?"

"Here," he repeated somewhat abstractedly. Elly felt him move and before she realized what he was about he was inside her. Strangely, there was no pain - the girls had often talked about sex before and it had been agreed it hurt the first time. She didn't have time to consider that at the moment, however. The compelling fullness coupled with the thrill as he thrust carefully within her was exhilirating. Zoro was obviously feeling just as much pleasure because after a moment she heard a low, soft moan fall from his lips.

Shocked, she opened her eyes to look straight into his, an inch or so away and dark with emotion.

"Hold onto me," he breathed, moving faster above her. "Hold on..." Elly bit her lip and clasped her hands around his neck. It was lightly beaded with sweat already from his exertions but she clung on. The tightness in her lower belly grew to an almost intolerable level as they made love. After a little while she heard him swear softly, choking on the words, and he fumbled to a stop.

"You all right?" He panted, swallowing hard.

"Yes." She stroked his cheek gently. "You're the one that looks winded, love."

"Had to stop," he explained shortly. "I can't..." He blew out air, hating the word but speaking the truth. "...can't hold back if we just go on like that."

"Please don't," Elly said softly. "I'm close too, and I don't want to lose it..." The words were barely out of her mouth before he gasped hoarsely and fell upon her again. His enthusiasm this time was unchecked and she found her heart racing as he held her tightly and covered her face and neck with kisses, moving all the while. She found completion in their act almost immediately and lost herself to everything around her for one delicious, sense-shattering moment.

When she came to he was breathing hard above her but unmoving otherwise. A drop of sweat fell from his brow as he stretched his neck up, then sighed gustily.

"Oh, wow." She wiped her lips with one shaking hand. "That was amazing."

"'Least you were sort of quiet for awhile." His mouth twitched with amusement.

Zoro grunted. Why wouldn't the fool keep still?! It was bad enough he had to share one of these crappy tents with him, but now the blond ass was talking in his sleep.

"Of course...hnnn..."

The Strawhats had decided to investigate yet another island on the huge expanse of sea they were travelling on. They thought it was smaller, but had been shocked to discover it was big enough to warrant their bringing packs and camping supplies. In the course of exploring they had become benighted in the forests that surrounded the miniature berg.

And now that fucking cook wouldn't shut the fuck up!

"Ah, Angel," he moaned. Zoro's head shot up. Son of a ...

"Pervert!" He slammed a fist in the sleeping blonde's side. "Wake up! I can't sleep with all your racket!"

"Ugh." Sanji squinted at him angrily. "What the hell? I was dreaming peacefully!"

"Not peacefully!" Zoro clenched his teeth as a foot smacked him in the leg.

"Dammit! Let me sleep!"

"Keep your dreams away from her!" The big man rolled out of his blankets and stormed out. It was evident from his face as he left that slamming a tent flap wasn't very satisfying. The best he could do was unzip it as roughly as he could and stalk away.

"What?" Sanji laid back on his bedroll, hands splayed out behind him. He cocked his head as he heard sounds emanating from the girls tents. "That ass woke the ladies up!" He crawled outside, apologizing as soon as his feet hit the cool mossy undergrowth.

"What's his problem?!" Nami was glaring in the direction Zoro had crashed off to. "I'll get him for this! I'm tired!" Robin was yawning, covering her mouth daintily with one hand. In front of their tent the lavender nekomata had her ears swiveled to one side. Her purple eyes were luminous.

"My apologies, ladies," Sanji crooned. "Can I make you some warm milk?" Elly's ears snapped to attention at the thought of milk. She raised herself, stretched and slowly changed back to human form.

"What happened?" Nami asked waspishly. Sanji shrugged.

"He told me I was being too loud. I was, in fact, having this lovely dream about dear Angel." He kissed his hand to the pale woman and she shook her head in resignation. Nami looked over at Robin and winked.

"Oh, that's what happened. He got jealous."

"Jealous?!" Elly's cat ears perked and she blushed. "About what?"

"Maybe because he knew Sanji had something for you he bought today."

"You do?" Elly blinked. It was easier to confuse the woman when she first woke up and that's what they all were counting on. Sanji lifted a small packet from his shirt pocket and gestured.

"I do," he said slyly, winking.

"Maybe you should go find out where Mr. Bushido went," Robin suggested delicately to Luffy and Usopp. "He's not very good with directions, is he?"

"No," Luffy agreed, chuckling. "He'll get lost. C'mon, Usopp!" He grabbed his hapless friend's hand and spun off into the night despite Usopp's warnings that this was most certainly not a good idea. It didn't take Luffy long to find him, either. Usopp choked in terror and hid himself in a pile of leaves while the captain strolled up to the swordsman. Zoro was leaning with his back against a tree. His face was like a thundercloud.

"Why'd you run off like that?" He asked guilelessly. "Zorooo... you woke everyone up."

"The hell with that."

"Was it Sanji? 'Cause he bought her a present today?"

"Bought who what?" The green-haired young man shrugged. "He buys those two things all the time."

"Not Nami or Robin. Elly." He paused. "Maybe it was because he thinks she likes him better."

"What? He never gets attention from that stupid cat." Zoro snorted.

"But he's real close now." Luffy stretched his neck a little further, craning to see. "Oooooh, it looks like they're kissing!" He was knocked over in the next second by a green and white blur as the swordsman tore past him at breakneck speed. He blinked.

"I didn't think it would work!" Ussop crawled out from under a cover of moss nearby. He looked amazed. Luffy scratched his head.

"I dunno what Robin wants to do, but if it works maybe Zoro will be less angry from now on." His hand came away from his messy black hair and he clutched his stomach. "Besides, she promised Sanji would make us a snack if we helped! Hurry up, let's go back!"

Zoro crashed through the undergrowth with no attempt at being silent. His sharp eyes had caught the back of Sanji's blond head, drawing very close to the lavender-haired girl. In fact, he was holding something up to her and their mouths were too close for his liking!

The big man didn't even bother to draw a sword. He simply ran up and smashed his fist against the side of the cook's face, knocking him clear across the camp and into a big tree hard enough to shake the leaves at the very top. Both girls, who had been waiting for this moment, ran up and distracted him so he wouldn't run up and start kicking at the swordsman. Chopper clopped quickly to the fallen blond's side and began checking him for injuries, but Zoro didn't notice. As soon as he'd knocked him away his attention had wandered to the woman in front of him.

"What the hell is going on?" He growled, frowning.

"What?" Elly's eyes were glazed but wide open. She glanced down at the ground and he saw what the ass had been holding, a little packet of some green shit. He stooped and picked it up, sniffing at it.

"What's this?" He jerked back, surprised when she moved towards it. Her eyes had a look he recognized too well from staying in alehouses and taverns. She looked drunk. Zoro frowned harder. No, she looked more like that cat they'd raced against in those silly Davy Back fights. "You're using this to drug her?" His face darkened in anger and he turned around.

No one was there.

"Shit!" He almost threw the small catnip bag away but he paused, thinking. How much could this really affect her? He held the herbs out, then mimicked Sanji's earlier action of pulling it back so she leaned towards him. When they were an inch or so apart his heart began racing so fast he almost couldn't breathe. He dropped the bag, gulping, but she remained close to him. Too close. Elly's body was pressed on his and a low purr emanated from her throat. She snuggled against his chest, eyes half-lidded.

"Zoro..." Her voice was low, thrilling. She rolled the "r" in his name so it came out as more of a rumbling purr than human speech.

"You need to get some fresh air," he muttered nervously.

"Why?" Her hands came up from her sides, arms wrapping around his neck. Zoro began to look desperate. "I feel fine."

"You're not yourself," he tried to explain, but twitched when her fingers began caressing the back of his neck, his ears, his hair.

"Zoro," she husked again. Her nose sniffed delicately and he looked down, face blanching.

"Sh - shit," he stammered. The bag had opened when he dropped it, and the contents were strewn all over his shirt. He was covered in catnip. He hesitantly picked a few crumbs off but the hand he was brushing with was attacked by a playful Elly. Zoro choked as she grabbed his hand with her mouth and began licking at it, her breathing growing heavier, the purring louder. Her hands dragged down his neck and around to his chest, kneading and rubbing, over and then under the plain cotton. Zoro's body spasmed. He took a step back, one hand reaching behind him for some kind of purchase. Lucky for him the tent he had been sleeping in was right there. He stumbled backwards but his hand encountered the canvas and he stopped, his mind racing. Her hands were on his hot skin, tracing the scar on his stomach and lower. Zoro closed his eyes. Lower, even lower, her fingers trailed and her mouth was on his neck, kissing and licking. A low growl escaped him when her hand avoided his tented slacks and brushed instead on his trembling thighs. Warm lips were driving him crazy above, her kisses maddeningly soft.

"Harder," he whispered almost inaudibly. Her teeth rubbed on his neck and he felt a nip instead of a tentative kiss. His dark eyes flicked open, his head snapping quickly to the side to stare directly into her calm features. Elly was blushing as much as he was and her eyes had that far-away cast to them. She looked so relaxed and innocent. The swordsman hung his head, scowling. He was ashamed he'd let things get this far. Hadn't he belted the ero-cook a pretty damned good one for doing the same thing? "Stop," he rumbled, trying to push her off. A soft, plaintive whimper caught him off gaurd.

"Eh?" Now he felt even worse. This had to end now, or it would end badly. If he didn't understand anything else at least he was certain of that fact. He gently removed Elly's arms from around him. The sliver of a moon was enough to cast a glow to her lavender hair as she bent her head, shoulders drooping. She made as if to turn away but Zoro suddenly felt a brisk shove against his back, propelling him forward.

"What!" She gasped, eyes wide. Zoro's arms whipped out, one curling around her to avoid her getting hurt, the other smacking against the ground to catch himself. He caught himself in time but they had fallen together to the ground, tangled and pressed together like before but worse.

"Crap," he swore under his breath. His body was completely molded to hers, their noses touching they were so close. He already had his suspicions about that shove. That damned woman! She always messed around in their lives like she was some sort of frigging den mother. He hadn't much time to consider this as Elly squirmed under his body.

"S'okay," she grunted. "I can still get up..."

"No," he snapped at her. He sounded almost angry.

"Now what?!"

"Never wanted you to go." Zoro licked some herb leaves from his own arm and held his tongue out. It was ravenously captured by her mouth, causing his body to cramp with desire. Yes, this was what he needed! He opened his own and kissed her, giving in to his passion and delighting in her eagerness. Had the crew all seen? Had they known and conspired with this in mind? It didn't matter. What mattered was the pale woman below him, who was pleasuring him so greatly with a single kiss. The nightly dreams and softly murmured cries of pleasure as he touched himself came back to him in a rush. He remembered one of his fantasies and groaned, shuddering. The simularities were already so close. It was night, they were alone with the crew somewhere nearby where they might hear them if they were too loud. Her hands touched him through the thin fabric of his pants, and oh, his cat. His stupid cat. She really was touching him. He buried his face in her chest and nuzzled, hoping to muffle his cries as she stroked the outline of his hard erection. His fingers dropped, busied themselves with the button fly and reached inside to fumble his penis out. They couldn't be naked right now because he had a feeling they might be getting spied on.

"Later," he whispered in her ear. "I'll undress you later and we can be naked." His mouth lingered on her smooth neck and he kissed her urgently. "Naked together."

"Zoro," she gasped.

"Lift this," he husked, placing a hand on her night shift. "Hmmm, cat, so warm..." Elly trembled as he pushed the soft fabric up with his rough palm. His other was supporting her back, wrapped around her in a gentle hug. Zoro pulled her underwear down just enough. His big tanned body was literally shaking with need.

"Yes!" It was her turn to muffle her voice on his chest and he grinned fiercely.

"Can you see anything?" Sanji's voice was a little sullen from where they had hidden behind a clump of trees on the far side of the camp. Luffy was stretching his neck as far as he could without being seen.

"Nah, they're just laying there where Robin pushed them."

"Shut up, I want to listen!" Nami slapped both of their heads together. She cocked her head. The forest was still and quiet except for the couple's heavy breathing and their low, whispered voices. A wicked smile spread across her features as she listened and she gave the crew a thumb's up.

"How..."

"Here."

"Oh... oh, cat."

"Oh my god."

"My cat."

"Ohhhh, you promise? Later?"

"Later. Many more laters."

Fuzzy Cuffs

"Fuzzy Cuffs"

He was wondering why he'd agreed to this.

Sanji was naked and handcuffed to his bed with padded cuffs - blue and hugely fluffy, but secure nonetheless. His lover was above him and he barely remembered how they had gotten into these positions. Just that the idea had excited him, so they had bought them at a shop in the town they'd recently been to and now here he was... helpless. His lean body strained, muscles flexing under his pale skin. His legs in particular bulged impressively when he moved, especially in this kneeling position. Elly tickled his rear, bringing him back to the present. Sanji gasped.

"Angel!"

"Shocked?" She bent over his body and licked his earlobe. "This was your idea, remember?" Her ticklish touch grew bolder and she spanked him. He choked and tugged experimentally on the cuffs. They held, and he'd better be still if he didn't want to hurt his precious hands. Sanji's heart started to pound with a mixture of alarm and nervous excitement.

"Don't hurt me," he pleaded, panting. "Please don't hurt me."

"Ah, much better." She touched his hardening penis and he shivered. "Why shouldn't I, then?"

"I'll be good," he whispered. His face hung down, blood rushing into his cheeks. "I'll do whatever you say, love."

"Will you?" Her voice had a hard edge to it. Sanji's shoulders sagged as he recalled what he'd done earlier that day. Their relationship was a struggling, decrepit thing that crutched along on hobbled legs. It always seemed ready to fail but never did, always ready to break but mended itself in the end. Today he had backslid and capered happily over to Nami to ask if she'd like suntan lotion on her back. Sanji winced inwardly. He had known the moment he'd asked what he'd done and how it would hurt her. But it was hard to break old habits!

"You know who I am," he said hesitantly. "And that I love you, sweetheart...no matter if I show my appreciation for others." He gasped as she bit his shoulder and swallowed past the lump forming in his throat. She must really be hurt, for the brief swipe of her cheek against his back had left a wet smear. Crying? He always made her cry.

Why, then, did she stay with him?

"Do you want me to unlock you?" She asked quietly, startling him out of his reverie.

"Don't you want to punish me?"

"It's just play, Sanji. You know that." Elly touched the side of his face with a soft hand. "If you want to be gentle tonight, I'll unlock these damned fuzzy things and we can make love. I'm - I don't hate you. You know I can't hate you."

"Kiss me, then." He twisted around as much as the cuffs would allow and she met him halfway. Their mouths met, firm and closed until Sanji almost shyly opened his for a more tender kiss. "I love you, Angel," he breathed.

"Dumbass," she laughed softly. "Love you, too."

"Then finish me like this."

"Hmm?"

"Spank me," Sanji panted. That telltale blush of arousal was back across the bridge of his nose. "Touch me, use your hands..." He felt her hair tickle his neck and he smiled dreamily.

"Exactly what do you want, Sanji?" His lover coaxed, kissing him on the chin. He arched his back, his body fully responsive to the light strokes of her hands along his thighs. His penis was twitching below, rising in anticipation.

"Angel," he sighed. "B - beat me, then," his breathing grew ragged as he struggled with speaking such coarse language to his lady, "Then jerk me off...please."

"Wow," she gasped. "Did you just say that?"

"Please, baby," Sanji begged, getting into it more that she sounded excited. He pushed his body down on the bed to rub his bare chest on the sheets. His nipples were tight and hard, the cool sheets rubbing on them a delicious feeling. "Make it sting." His rear had lifted when he pressed his upper half down and he actually wagged it at her in invitation. She drew her hand back and whapped him very lightly, more of a firm pat than anything else. Sanji squirmed on the bed. He twisted and pulled on the soft cuffs, moaning feverishly as she rubbed his sensitive ass with one hand.

"That good?"

"Angel," he groaned. "Oh god Angel, harder..." She spanked him, marvelling at the pretty blush on his hard ass. It was amazing how this was turning him on, and, of course, whatever turned him on got her just as aroused. She slapped him a few more times until he began to cry out when her hand connected.

"Are you hurt, Sanjikun?" A light kiss on the reddened skin and he whispered her name. "You want me to make it better?"

"Yes, please."

"Then rise up." He lifted his body from the bed, thighs trembling. Elly's hand gripped him in a moment, tugging on his dripping penis. Gently at first, but soon in a rough way that left him beyond speech. His breathing was tortured, ragged little puffs and gasps for air and all he could do was whine softly as she teased him. His stomach tensed and he jerked forward several times, struggling to slip through her palm faster and faster. She was going to do it like he asked ! Oh, how he wanted to spill everything out in that great rush of pleasure that always left him light headed.

"Sanji," she cajoled, her lips close to his ear. "It feels so good, doesn't it? Come for me." The light purring threw him over the edge and he strained forward, hair swinging down and catching the dim light in a golden fall. The pleasure built up further for one excrutiating moment and then he burst, shouting weakly and shaking as he came. He hovered for a moment, his strong legs keeping him from collapsing to the bed like he wanted to.

"I made a mess, didn't I?"

"A little. But we can pull the top sheet off for tonight." She reached over and uncuffed him and he raised himself up on his knees, rubbing at one wrist absently. "Did you get hurt?"

"Just a light burn from that fuzy shit." He stretched his arms above his head, trying to work out the kinks. "What would you like me to do for you, my love?" His dark blue eye regarded her solemnly as he reached for her. Elly came closer and sat on the egde of the bed closest to him so he could embrace her. Sanji trailed kisses across her neck and then planted a cute little one on her forehead that made her smile.

"I'm not sure, actually." She turned and gathered up the top sheet, tenting it this way and that to pool the puddle of semen in one spot. "Stand up so we can take this off, okay?" He grunted and got up to help her. Once the offending sheet was in the hamper he picked her up and carried her back to the bed.

"Not sure, eh?" Sanji laid her carefully down and laid on top of her, brushing his hair aside so he could kiss her without the blond strands getting in their mouths. He held the kiss for a very long time, humming softly into her mouth with sated pleasure. "You know I'll do anything for you, sweetie. That felt so good...I want to give you a nice orgasm, too."

"Hmm, I know." She sighed deeply and ran her hands along his back, smiling when he shivered.

"Angel!" His laughter was unchecked; he giggled loudly, then blushed. "Oi, that tickles!"

"I know." She grinned harder. "I like it when you laugh like that." His kiss this time was even more serious and he caught her off gaurd. Her body stiffened when he took her hand in his, entwining his fingers around her own. His other was petting her more sensitive breast, stroking the nipple and rolling his palm on the hardening flesh. Elly couldn't speak because when she tried to he kissed her again, muffling whatever she might have said. This happened several times until she was completely limp below his body, trembling, her eyes closed and lips parted. Sanji kissed her one more time, catching her lower lip in his mouth and sucking lightly.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered. "So perfect." He lapped at her neck and slipped lower, talking while he began placing kisses down to where his one hand toyed with her nipple. "So commanding when I want you to be, but so submissive when I love you. You make me feel wonderful." This last was breathed directly on her breast and he felt her hand squeeze his.

"Sanji...?"

"I want to hold your hand," he husked, licking delicately. He listened to her soft sounds of pleasure and smiled, kissing the nub of skin. "If you wait a little while, I might be able to love you."

"How long..."

"Not too long." He pulled back and placed his free hand on her cheek. "I can do things to you that I couldn't before, now," he teased.

"What?"

"Just wait." Sanji laid back on top of her, covering her face with kisses. She wiggled when she felt his hardness below on her thigh. Not too hard, but hot and obviously ready again, she gulped.

"What are you going to do to me?" He didn't answer in words, but he arched his body until she felt the tip of his penis nudging at her entrance. He shook his head when she would have helped him and she shrugged, brought their entwined hands to her lips and kissed his knuckles. "All right. Your way." She rested on the pillows and let him move gently around on her sensitive areas. He didn't slip inside, but rather rubbed the soft head of his erection where he knew she liked to be teased.

"Warm," he whispered. "Does it feel good, little one? Do you want to come like this?"

"Sanji..." She threw her head back. For some strange reason the fact that he still held her hand was driving her wild, not to mention his gentle stimulation of her clit. She shuddered and clung to his shoulderblades with her free hand.

"Yes? Or do you want me a little inside you?" He demonstrated, the teasing tip slipping easily inside. He held himself back, straining only slightly. "Should I make love to you ever so softly?"

"Oh god, Sanji."

"Oh." He shivered theatrically. "Oh baby." A light thrust in and out, just the head of his penis. "Oh baby yessss..." Elly wailed, biting her lower lip. His voice ...his sexy, teasing voice! She knew he was playacting for her benefit but it didn't matter. His low, thrilling whispers and soft cries were making her tense tighter and tighter, intensifying her pleasure.

"Keep doing that," she told him. "Talking to me."

"Yes, my love." His visible eye was half-shut with desire. He nodded and bent to whisper in her ear as he slowly made love to her. "Is it good? Do I feel good inside you?" He paused when she nodded helplessly. Dear god, this was just as much fun for him! He felt the release wanting to build within him but it hurt a little since he'd come so much before. She had drained him once today; this time he could pace himself.

"So sweet," she gasped. Sanji stared at her in amazement. He nuzzled her earlobe.

"Am I not filling you enough?" He teased, moving just a little deeper inside. She suddenly wept his name, her face contorting into such a twisted mask of ecstacy that he inhaled sharply. "Angel, is that okay?"

"There, there," she begged. "Just like that!" Sanji's eye widened. He'd heard of this before but never thought he would manage it without trying. He dipped gently, moving like before as he brushed that fabled spot inside her body. The double stimulation was so intense it actually halted her orgasm and she sobbed out loud in frustrated pleasure.

"Oh baby, no, here," he soothed. "I'll fix it. Your Sanji will fix everything." He pressed downwards, thrusting himself all the way inside and back. Elly's body tightened around his and he filled her again and again with his sex, murmuring all the while in a comforting fashion. When he judged she was about to finally come he gently took her other hand in his. Her eyes widened in shock and he smiled at her.

"Sa - ahhh...!"

"Yes," he whispered. His own orgasm was as intense if not as messy as the first. He held still and finished inside her while she wound down, shivering and clinging to him.

Their sleep that night was quiet and untroubled. Sanji nestled close beside her, his arms cradling her to his lean frame and his chin on her shoulder. His feet stuck out of the ends of the comforter a little when he did this, but he was comforted by this and didn't mind. Elly's hands were balled up on his chest, her legs wrapped around one of his. When they woke in the morning there was always the chance that the new day would bring another rocky situation to their relationship but for now, all was well.

The sunlight beating down on his tanned skin was warm, almost hot. Zoro had decided to take a nap after working out on the beach but he kept getting distracted...

The towel he'd placed underneath him wasn't enough protection against the sand slowly creeping over it. The grains were gritty against his legs and back, just enough to keep him at the edge of sleep.

Or so he convinced himself.

The real reason he couldn't doze off like he normally could was that the stupid cook was fawning over the stupid cat. Zoro frowned and deliberately turned to one side so he couldn't peer through slitted eyes to watch. The red-haired wench was off shopping at the local town and the other was off doing something quiet, which couldn't be said for the rest of them. The two were the only ones on the beach beside him though as the others were still playing in the ocean. His frown grew harder, his brow furrowing more and more as he listened.

When Sanji asked if she wanted help with her suntan lotion, however, he snapped. In one smooth leap he was on his feet, boiling with rage. He snarled at the blond haired young man as he stalked over to where they were, grabbed Elly's wrist and yanked her away.

"What's wrong with you, asshole," she hissed at her captor, her eyes cold and hard. "Quit pulling on me."

"Get over here," He didn't think; just swept her into his arms to get her away from the others faster. Her body tensed rigidly for a brief moment.

The idiot! How dare he! Her thoughts were acidic as she glared up at the big man. His jaw was set, dark eyes staring straight ahead as he walked purposefully out into the playful wavelets to the huge gangplank. Yet even though he looked oddly resentful Elly knew he wouldn't harm her. During the long walk back to wherever he was taking her she gradually relaxed. He despised Sanji's antics in general so maybe that was why he had lashed out. She ignored the fact that he never cared when the cook catered to any other woman.

He grunted when he put her down on the main deck.

"Now what was that all about?" She raised her chin, lavender side locks whipping about her cheeks in the warm breeze. Zoro glanced aside with a scowl.

"Don't ."

"Excuse me?"

"I said you know better than that."

"What? I'm not allowed to be treated like the other girls?" Her biting reply announced that she thought the opposite.

He blinked. "...you like that bullshit?!"

"Every woman likes to be treated like she's beautiful sometimes!" She lashed out and struck him lightly across the chest with her palm. The slap was meant to be ineffectual; she knew she wouldn't hurt him if she tried. It was the gesture that counted and he backed away looking even more puzzled.

The sting of tears pricked her eyes. "No one ever treated me like that before. He never even does because he's always after them and I'm always wearing fur!" To put it bluntly, Elly now felt depressed. She had a light crush on the lecherous cook and his attentions had been boosting her ego. She'd begun to think that maybe she wasn't hideous in this pale, naked human form after all. The girls assured her she wasn't yet the men's attention - or lack of it -- confirmed her suspicions. Her body was thicker in general than the others and she had a proportional bust instead of one that looked like two giant watermelons perched precariously on top of a twig. Her hair wasn't long or lustrous and she was usually in her cat form because she was more comfortable in it.

The swordsman stood dumbfounded as she changed form and bounded away to hide in the bowels of the ship. When her tail tips had disappeared into the open door that stood at the end of the deck Zoro spun, his hand on the hilts of his swords. Sanji was leaning against the railing, a cigarette casually held between his long fingers.

"You, my friend, are a complete idiot." He raised the cigarette and took a long, calm drag. "Nice work."

"Not my fault," Zoro snarled between clenched teeth.

"You're dumber than I thought you were if you really believe that." His leg snapped up, absently blocking the blades aimed at him.

"Also not my fault that you're obsessed with girls." Zoro reluctantly sheathed his katana and glared harder at the cocky young man.

"Have you ever seen her cry?" Sanji's blunt question startled the big man.

"Of course not!" He waved his hand curtly through the air. "She doesn't do any of that nonsense."

"You might want to readjust your thinking. She's human ..." He paused at Zoro's snort. "Don't give me that. Chopper's human enough for all of us and he can't even turn all the way like she can. The point is that she likes you. You can hurt her."

"What the hell do you mean?"

"Fuck, she's got crappy taste in men." Sanji rolled his visible eye skyward and sighed. "Just go and see if you upset her or not. I'll be willing to admit defeat if she's not curled up someplace crying."

This was enough reason for Zoro to try and the blond man watched with some amusement as he stomped away. He came back not ten minutes later with a sour expression on his tanned features.

"How do I make it better?" He asked sullenly.

"I thought you'd never ask."

It was obvious to Sanji that it would take something like a miracle to turn the grumpy, callous swordsman into anything resembling a gentleman. At first he resisted any attempt to teach him the soft, flattering words that came so naturally to the cook when he spoke to any lady.

He finally resorted to threats. "Do it or you'll fail. Look, it's not bullshitting them if you believe it, all right?"

"It's a bunch of..." What Zoro described doesn't bear repeating but it was quite colorful. The green haired young man was dressed in something different than what he usually wore. He sat with one leg cocked over the other, seemingly nonchalant but obviously uncomfortable. His shirt that day was of finely spun dark gray silk, open at the front, with slightly faded jeans in a darker hue. His gold earrings had given way to silver ones and he'd even gone so far as to discard his usual haramaki.

Sanji ran a hand through his sweep of golden hair and grimaced. "Give, idiot. I've seen you staring at her. Besides, why were you so pissed the other day? You like her, tell her. That's it. Tell her what you like about her. I'm just giving you little tips. Compliment her hair, her eyes, what she's wearing that day - ladies like to hear that. Try it, say something you like about her right now. Go." He knew he was pressing his luck but the other man was strangely meek, considering...

Zoro mumbled something.

"What?"

"I said - " He swore briefly, "she smells good." He looked profoundly embarrassed when he'd admitted this as if he'd said something silly. Sanji nodded though.

"Just practice. If you can say them out loud you can say them to her."

"Why do I have to say them while you're around though?" He thrust his jaw out pugnaciously at the smaller man.

"Because," Sanji said patiently, "if you say these things to her in public other people might hear. You have to be able to do it without choking on your food."

"Food?"

"You were planning on taking her out someplace to eat, right?"

"Take stupid cat out? On a ...?"

"Date. Yes. You'd better knock off that 'stupid' business while you're at it. Don't you ever call her by her name?"

"No." Zoro frowned.

"Never?"

"I said no, didn't I?"

"Well..." Sanji groped for an idea. "Just drop the 'stupid' part and it'll be fine, I guess. But you could call her something nicer." Zoro grunted and unfolded his legs from on top of the table they rersted on. He stood, wrenched his shoulders back in a vigorous stretch and grimaced at the crackling sound that emanated from his neck.

"I'll do it."

"Wait!" Sanji rushed forward before he could burst out the door. "Here, give her this when you do." He pressed a flower into the bigger man's rouugh palm.

"...you serious?"

"Just do it. Trust me."

He found her resting in one of the common rooms on the ship with an unread book laying beside her on a low divan. Zoro peered around first to make sure they were alone, then cleared his throat.

"What." Her tone was flat. She didn't bother to look at him but continued to stare morosely at the far wall.

"We're staying here for awhile," he began lamely. He knew what his plan of attack was but this was a different battleground. Zoro much preferred swords and oceans of blood to this awkward, blushing advance. He scowled at himself then sat down next to her. "You want to go out to eat? In town?"

She slowly turned her head to face him. "You said what?" She hadn't been paying attention and she struggled back to focus.

"Do you want to go out to eat tonight." He leaned closer, blushing but determined.

"Ah..." Elly was startled to find him inches away holding a sprig of lavender up before her eyes. It was her favorite flower.

"Say yes," he said firmly.

She blinked. "What's going on?" He was acting so different that she could tell something was up. But the warmth from his body and the familiar scent of her favorite flower mixed with the sharp tang of steel lulled her into a dreamy, vacant-eyed state. Zoro was amazed at how fast the silly tactics he'd been taught worked. He began to feel more confident again and the flush on his cheeks drew back from red to light pink.

"Do you want to go out with me or not?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, but..."

"I'll come get you later tonight," he said as he tucked the flower cluster into her hair. "Eight."

"That late?" She stammered a little and cursed herself for doing so; he saw her wince. Zoro smiled and she grew even more flustered.

"Make sure you're ready," was all he said before leaving.

"That was all he said?" Nami shook her head in disbelief.

"He doesn't waste words," Robin murmured. She watched with a gentle smile as Elly burst out of her bathroom again. The girls had all gathered together to offer advice and calm their nervous friend. They were currently helping her choose an outfit.

"What about this one?" She spun about girlishly, causing the dark green dress to flare about her legs. It had a light scattering of sequins on the bodice and was mid-thigh length.

"It's nice," Nami said dubiously.

"What's wrong with this one?" Elly demanded. "Wait, I know - it's too reserved for your taste."

"You might have to hit him over the head," the orange-haired girl said dryly. "He hasn't seemed interested in girls before."

"I disagree," Robin said, stretching. "That looks nice on her. Plus it matches his favorite colors. He'll wear green. They'll look good together."

"There's what I'm concerned about," Elly said worriedly. "He's just doing this to apologize out of some code of honor or something. He doesn't care about me that way."

"He's yelled at me a thousand times," Nami said wryly, "and never asked me out."

"He's just doing it because he thinks he has to," the plumper girl asserted.

"Ask him if you're so concerned," Robin suggested mildly. "But since it's almost time, we'd better get going..."

"Erk."

Nami winked at her. "You're so sure he's not serious! I'd be prepared for anything if I were you."

"What?"

Robin chuckled under her breath and dragged her away before Elly could comment further. They left just in time, for it was only minutes before there was a light, almost diffident tap on her door. He was wearing some green as Robin had predicted; he had on a dark charcoal jacket and pants with his typical haramaki. He had decided not to leave his swords behind as Sanji had delicately suggested but the green looked like a cummerbund and didn't detract from the outfit. He wore no tie and the first couple of buttons on his shirt were open.

They both hesitated when they saw each other.

Then he cleared his throat. "Ready?"

"Yes." She walked out, setting her heels firmly on the wooden decking as if reassured by the clacking sounds her heels made. She stopped after a few steps, however, when his hand touched her arm. Elly paused, uncertain of what he wanted and nearly choked when he slipped his arm about hers.

It was a silent stroll to the restaurant where he'd reserved a table. They kept glancing at each other nervously, neither one sure of what to say. Zoro's head was filled with the ideas Sanji had given him but every time he opened his mouth to say something it felt fake and he clamped his lips shut.

Needless to say he pretty much flubbed the entire evening.

It was somehow rewarding to see the big man flounder around so desperately, Sanji mused as he watched from his vantage point at a table hidden in the shadows. The fact remained that the poor girl was convinced this was only a half-hearted effort to make up for something. He sighed and left before they did, his mind racing.

Zoro was not very happy. When he set out to accomplish a task he always finished. He wasn't satisfied with halfway measures and he firmly believed that he was incapable of "losing" in any area as long as he tried his damndest. But try though he might, he couldn't flatter and cater to this dark-haired woman that had shot into his life like a furry comet. The words the idiot cook had wanted him to say were somehow there, he just couldn't voice them. When he finally did speak it always ended up sounding wrong. Angry more with himself than anything, he gently took her by the arm again to lead her back to the ship.

Elly was quiet on the walk back. She had dreamed of this but it wasn't what she thought it would be. Even though she was sure he was only apologizing, however, dinner had been bittersweet. She'd tried not to stare at him in his finery that made him even more handsome than she'd thought possible. She'd struggled to not cling to him when he offered her his arm on both trips to and from the shore. What she really wanted to do was wrap her arms tightly around his body and bury her head in that strong chest. Instead she walked sedately by his side, thanking him with a smile when they reached the gangplank.

"Such an early night for a date," Sanji remarked casually, stepping out of the shadows alongside the ship. Zoro blinked at him.

"Well, dinner's done," Elly shrugged with a weak smile that made the blond man's heart ache. "What else is there to do, right?"

"A walk on the beach, maybe? Under the half-full moon?" He sighed and held out his hand while Zoro choked. He glared at the chef, his teeth bared in a frightening scowl. Sanji rolled his visible eye and turned his back on the swordsman, tugging gently so she joined him.

"Oh, why not," she sighed hopelessly. She bent, removed her shoes and laid them by the wooden walkway back to the ship. The two walked off along the cool, wet sand with the crashing of the ocean accompanying their small talk. Some distance away from where they'd begun, Sanji paused.

"He really does like you, you know," he murmured. He slipped an arm about her shoulders.

"Yes. We're friends."

"No." Sanji laughed. "No, beautiful, not that way. He's nearly throwing those big dumb knives of his at my back for taking you away from him. He would do this with you, but he's not good at romance."

"But..."

"Cook!" They both turned in surprise to find the big man standing behind them with his fists clenched. His face was mottled with anger. "Quit touching my girl!"

Elly's eyes went wide and she nearly fell to the sand under her feet. Sanji prudently stepped clear as she wobbled and Zoro caught her deftly about the waist. The slender young man stepped backwards as he shook one fist at him.

"What just happened?" She gasped. Her cheeks were stained a light pink from nervousness and he immediately forgot his treacherous crewmate and turned his attention to her instead.

"You almost fell," he mumbled.

"Oh." She gulped. "Um. Thanks." It was hard to formulate sentences when he held her lightly against his side. She could feel his big hand grasping her midsection.

"You want help there?" The other man raised a curly eyebrow.

"No," Zoro said. "I told you, back off." His arm slipped more possessively around her waist and she flinched slightly, then relaxed.

"What was that?" Sanji asked pleasantly.

"I said she's with me, not you." He turned her with him and walked off down the beach.

"You were jealous that day," she marveled. Zoro grunted sourly.

"Just irritated," he said shortly. "If you wanted attention you should have said something."

"To you? Oh, that would have been pleasant. You're always 'stupid cat' this and 'stupid cat' that."

He took a deep breath. He was not going to screw up again. His nervousness dissipated when he viewed the scenario more like a battle and he steeled himself to win no matter what.

"I'm me," he rumbled in a low tone. "That's how I am. Do you know who you are?" He paused to let that sink in, then leaned even closer so their noses were almost touching. She looked decidedly cute with her huge eyes trained on his lips so deliberately close to her own. He started to shake the thought off instinctively, then stopped.

He told her instead.

Elly blinked. "Wh - what?"

"Your eyes are pretty."

"Was this a dare or something?" Her voice shook; she whispered so low that he almost couldn't hear her.

"...and you're scared." He reached up and gently touched her cheek. "Not a stupid cat right now. More like ..." He paused. "A kitten."

"Zoro." He hushed her and she snapped her mouth closed, amazed.

"Kitten," he murmured softly, his hands coming up to caress her hair.

Sanji's grin grew into a self-satisfied smirk as he watched the silhouettes draw closer together near the frothing water. Not only had he made her happy now but that idiot owed him big time.
